Everything worked! Very efficient and friendly staff. Bedroom better than I expected.
Mundesley is lovely. I think for visiting other parts of the surrounding area it would be better to have a car as it is quite remote. There is a regular bus service but unfortunately it had emergency timetable changes during our stay so we weren’t able to use it at all to explore.

Mundesley is a lovely little village - not too commercialised, so it's like stepping back in time. It feels safe and so ideal for families with young children as well as those who want a quiet holiday. The pubs welcome dogs, which is always a nice feature. The accommodation ranges from campsite, to chalets, holiday rentals and hotel - should cover most requirements. Cromer and Sheringham not far away nor are the Norfolk Broads, so it's well placed for day trips out... and wonderful to come back to at the end of the day. The beach is wonderful, with good sand for making sand-castles, although swimming should be done with care as there are some under-currents at times. The life-guard and flags should be heeded in this respect. Good places for evening meals - The Royal Hotel and The Ship are favourite places of ours - there's plenty of choice! Crazy Golf on the sea-front is always a favourite of ours - because as pensioners, we're really big soft kids! There's also a small arcade for youngsters and lots of cafes and a beach paraphernalia shop. Can you tell I love it there?

I've known Mundesley since the 70s - used to go as a child every year so I know it well. Its a nice small, british seaside village with lots of evidence of it being a victorian/edwardian holiday destination. Beach is great for walking along in cooler weather (you can walk for MILES if you want) and the inland lanes are pretty. Not many pubs but the Ship Inn has a nice selection of beers and a takeaway 'shack' in the evenings for fish and chips and the Royal Hotel has a bar. Not a huge number of shops in the village, usual places to buy buckets/spades, there's a park with kids playground, there's crazy golf, Its easy to get to other locations e.g. Cromer, Sheringham, North Walsham and further afield. Lots of little secret paths in the villages to explore, easy to get around. Beach is mainly sandy but shingly in areas, I always had a great time as a kid there, its changed a bit (more houses on the outskirts) but its still the same place underneath. Love it!

It is a pleasant friendly village and there are lovely interesting walks in the area. It is a great centre for exploring that part of Norfolk. I always self-cater for my evening meals and use the local Tesco Express for ready-washed salad and cold meats. The Tesco is on the road to Cromer and is about a ten minute drive. I recommend turning right out of the hotel and using the back streets through the village to avoid the tricky narrow kink in the main road. There is a small information office by the car park in the village which is chock-full of leaflets and guides.

Mundesley is a small village down the coast from Cromer and Sheringham. The main attraction is the clean sandy beach. The beach is flat so no suddenly deep water and often at low tide there is a shallow tidal pool children can safely play in with inflatables etc. It is also manned by lifeguards. There are toilets a beach cafe that does a roaring trade in fish and chips, eat in or takeaway. As well as a kiosk selling all manner of beach items, icecreams etc. We can highly recommend the Chinese takeaway. Tesco express is open from 7am to 11pm. There are many holiday rentals from self catering houses, flats, chalets and caravans to B&B's and hotel.
In the village there is a post office, chemists, greengrocers and a couple of other shops.
Good location well maintained grounds. Inside was really comfortable with just about everything you need. It was like being at home nice and clean with cleaning materials if you need them. Couple of good restaurants close by, the ship and the royal hotel, social club with holiday membership if you fancy meeting the locals or a game of bingo. Good cafes and a great Chinese takeaway. The beach is really nice with great facilities. All this is within walking distance and more so you could leave the car in the spacious car park at the chalet.
The 2 bedroom Mannington bungalow was more than we could have expected, very well equipped (including washer/dryer & dishwasher) very clean and comfortable. Its location was just perfect a few steps away from the cliff top path for an awesome sea view. It was very peaceful and quiet. We highly recommend it. We will definitely be going back again hopefully soon. And a wonderful bonus was the Holiday Village cat called Noisy/Cherry.
Mundesley Holiday Village is at a perfect location to explore the Norfolk coast.
we stayed for 2 nights in November. the hotel is stunning the decor is modern and original. we were lucky to get a free room upgrade thanks to Helen the deputy manager who was very friendly and welcoming. the food is delicious with a fish and chips next door which is owned by the hotel which is also lovely. the staff especially Sarah the bar maid were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. the hotel is very dog friendly and made lots of fuss over our little dog which she really appreciated.
A lovely clean, bright, spacious property. Very well equipped for a holiday let. The host seemed to have included everything we might need. A clean well fitted out kitchen. Good Wi-Fi connection. Good off street parking.
Local shops conveniently located nearby and good road access to local tourist attractions. Mundesley itself is a lovely little village with a beautiful sandy beach within easy walking distance from the property.
Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property.
The chalet is very well equipped and tastefully decorated.
It is compact, but ideal for a family of four to use as a base whilst exploring the coast.
The adventure golf in Mundesley was great fun and the ice cream shop next door delicious.
Tesco express is 2 minutes walk from Chalet, very handy.
The welcome basket was a lovely touch, as was the text from Gemma after we arrived. We would recommend this place.
Fantastic and comfortable little house. Great facilities and comfortable beds.
The actual village of Mundesley is very undersold - there is literally everything you could think of there including some wonderful local shops and an arcade and crazy golf for the kids. The house is situated incredibly well to take advantage of all of this.
We had a fantastic time and would definitely love to come back.
The apartment is part of what looks like a conversion to a grand old Victorian hotel right on the sea front. Its very impressive on the inside and the rooms are spacious with high ceilings and appeared to have been decorated recently to a reasonable standard, but could have been finished off better on the detail side. We had a bonus second bathroom located in the basement.
This apartment is clean and comfortable with a lovely enclosed garden. Considering how cold it was outside, the apartment is warm and cosy. We slept very well there, it's nice and quiet with a comfy bed. It's in a great location where you just take a short walk to the seafront.
We have been before and would love to return again.
Bar & food was great.
Staff were all friendly & it was nice to chat to the locals too.
A special thank you to Nat, who was an amazing, hard working chef (one day she actually cooked me breakfast, lunch & dinner). She should be on 'Masterchef'.
The hotel's lovely.
Ps. Try the 24oz on the bone ribeye, it's well nice.
This is a lovely warm and clean cottage. It is well equipped and has a good kitchen and good bathroom. There is everything you need but also no clutter. There is plenty of storage and a parking. The large dining table is a bonus. There is good wifi.
We had a very comfortable stay in a beautiful area of Norfolk
The house is beautifully decorated with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen in particular is very well equipped. It is a short walk down steps to a dog friendly beach. The beach is sandy and beautiful. Mundesley is a short walk with a good pub and a few cafes and shops. We will return.
The breakfast at the durdens was phenomenal!!
The room was very clean and well presented with good facilities. The owners and staff were always on hand to meet you needs. Mundesley is a very nice place to stay with a lovely beach. Would definitely stay again.
Really lovely place to stay several dogs staying there but the hotel was kept so clean had a evening meal there and that was excellent service was so good meal was cooked perfectly and was nice and hot and delicious
The location was superb, a short walk to the costal path to the dog friendly side of Mundesly beach. The apartment was large and spacious and had all the amenities you'd expect.
The location suited us. All the meals were excellent and good value, especially the carvery which was exceptional with all locally sourced fresh vegetables.
