We liked the location - the hotel is surprisingly quiet despite being next to a road - the views from the bedroom windows across the landscape at the rear of the hotel are wonderful. It is an easy walk into the countryside to explore further. There is easy parking at the front . The evening meals served in the restaurant were home cooked and reasonably priced and were tasty. The service was efficient and friendly. The bedroom was spacious and warm - but not too hot and there was plenty of hot water for showers and baths. In the public areas there is a nice sunny terrace outside at the rear and a sunny lounge inside with comfortable seating.
