I’ve stayed here a couple of times for work. Lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Food was really lovely (massive portions!). A cooked breakfast is one of my favourites I’ve ever had. Location was great for where I was working in cinderford

We were late in arriving, so kitchen had closed, but went out there way to rustle up some hot food, staff made you feel welcome

We had the included breakfast twice, and both were excellent. We also had dinner one night, which was really good and also excellent value. The real stand out though was the customer service and friendliness of the staff - I don't think we have ever encountered such a group of friendly, helpful hotel staff and we were very impressed.

breakfast was superb.freshly cooked with good quality ingredients,plenty of tea,coffee,cereals,toast etc. staff were very attentive and welcoming,friendly atmosphere. the room was of a good size and the facilities very good,plenty of tea/coffee topped up daily,caraffe of water.good large bed and a good size tv.bathroom was of a good size with plenty of towels. really interesting old building with good history on the walls and in the building.beer was good as well.

We loved everything - Penny and David were wonderful hosts and the B&B is gorgeous. Beautiful views from every angle, ample parking and a perfectly cooked breakfast each morning. We would often get back after a day out to a fresh pot of tea and delicious homemade cakes. We stayed as a family exploring the Forest of Dean. The location was perfect with direct access to the A48. We were able to store our bikes in the barn while we weren't using them which was an added bonus. Beds were super comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely stay again in the future!
