Lovely pub and in a perfect location for the weekend trip we had nearby, there was three of us staying so we had I think it room 6, the only one with three beds, the rooms are separate from the pub but only a few paces away so your in the bar in less than a minute.
We all had an evening meal that was excellent and a good portion, we also gad a full English in the morning that was as equally as good as the meal, beer was ok too.
All in all we had a nice stay and wouldn’t think twice about staying here again, in fact once we get a date for next year’s event we’ll be booking again.
One more thing price was good too.

The location, the quietness , the staff especially Vikki. The bed was very comfortable and there was a fan in the room, tea and coffee, fluffy towels in the room. It was very clean. Since the room was so small, I sat out in the lobby area on tables, it was very nice. There are a few nice places to eat. I tried the new Indian restaurant next door and the food was so tasty, I recommend it. The price is very reasonable.

We stay here often for work as it is a great pub with rooms, excellent food and good value for money
I know Market Harborough very well. The town and surrounding area has much to offer the traveller. Being in a central area, you're not too far from several cities or large towns. Not that you need cities because MH can offer you everything you'll need. Foxton locks is a beautiful tranquil place only 5 miles away. The town is surrounded by some of the most gorgeous villages in the country, most boasting a very decent pub. On my recent trip there we went to Medbourne which has The Nevill Arms pub. We had a drink in it's splendid pub garden by a stream. It's was fabulous.
In the evenings we dined in MH's many restaurants. The Little Thai on Northampton Road was stupendous. Harborough has it's fair share of cafes too. We had lunch in Aldwinkles on Church Street. A lovely tucked away little place that is delightful. The church with it's majestic Westminster chimes situated next to the famous Old Grammar school are a treat for the eye. There's always something going on in and around Market Harborough, I can heartily recommend the place.

Only a one night stay to break up a 7 hour journey home. We would definitely go back there as lots to see and do. We ate at 3 locations and all were fabulous. Will definately stay at the 3 swans hotel again as it is simply amazing. I am looking for reasons to return, a beautiful place. Xxx

Very attractive little town with good facilities.
Very attractive little town with good facilities. Surrounding countryside is superb, and villages contain really handsome dwellings.
The only 'downside' of our Market Harborough experience was the misfortune of bumping into a 'carnival/run' event (10/06/2023). Nothing against such things, but to be forwarned of the traffic chaos would have been helpful!

The Three Swans hotel is a great hotel, great service, great...
The Three Swans hotel is a great hotel, great service, great food, excellent accommodation and good parking facilities and a great location in the centre of Market Harborough.
However there is one very big problem which is why I would avoid this hotel - its is not possible to get any sleep as the church across the road rings its bells every hour on the hour plus every quarter past and quarter to the hour. This happens throughout the night and into the early hours as well. This affected my sleep badly and for this reason if you are looking to get any sleep you have to avoid this hotel. Shame as the hotel itself is of a high standard.

Elegant buildings with many independent shops and eateries.
Elegant buildings with many independent shops and eateries. Factory building in the centre of town has been innovatively transformed into local museum, archive, library, Council offices and cafe. The Market Harborough arm of the Grand Union Canal, at top of main street, is still very active, with buildings restored including apartments and a restaurant. Possible to walk along the canal (or drive) to where the branch meets the main Grand Union at the eleven lock flight at Foxton Locks.

Explore guest reviews of hotels in Market Harborough
We had only one night at this location.,ideal for walks in the nearby countryside.
I was unsure when I looked at the picture of the Bulls head, it didn't show much.
But after reading the reviews I decided to book it.
I met Mo the owner a lovely guy. The property was behind the black Bull, the decor excellent attention to detail. Spotlessly
clean, very comfortable.
We decided to book an evening meal, we enjoyed it.
I would certainly stay here again when we are in that area.
Thanks Mo .

This lovely hotel in downtown Market Harborough is an easy walk to everything in town. While being in the heart of town, the comfortable rooms were quiet and well appointed. And the restaurant is amazing! The staff was very helpful and attentive as well. We had an issue with a double booking through booking.com and while the local staff wasn’t able to help us with it, they put us in contact with the corporate staff who resolved it for us. Would highly recommend!!
Marston Croft is an absolutely fantastic B&B in an idyllic location. Amanda is an incredible host--friendly, helpful, willing to go the extra mile. Amazing breakfasts with homemade jams and marmalade, plus Amanda's famous fried bread! Comfy bed, fluffy towels, everything absolutely first rate. Terrific wifi. Beautiful countryside surroundings, but convenient to Leicester. Plenty of great dinner options nearby. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Excellent service nothing was to much trouble for Sue the owner, even offered us a lift to the train station if we couldn't get a taxi . The beds are the best night sleep ever. The room was spotless and the breakfast delicious. Can not fault would very much recommend for the perfect quiet holiday with local villages nearby. Thank you Sue for your wonderful hospitality.
Well appointed country retreat in a quaint English village, with a lovely pub within a 10-15 minute walk. Beautifully quiet and relaxing, with fabulous hosts. Short drive to Market Harborough and a little further to Leicester if you need a city fix.
Classic English hotel set in the middle of town. Our bedroom was massive and included a settee and small dining table and chairs. The bathroom was also very big. The breakfast was very good. Certainly would well recommend a stay there.
Great accommodation perfect for us visiting family in Market Harborough. Plenty of room for all of us and everything we needed. Very clean and well set up. We will definitely be back.
Lovely hotel right on the High St of Market Harborough. Lovely comfy room with tea/coffee making/biscuits/chocolate/water. Great breakfast in lovely surroundings.
