Good size breakfast which we enjoyed. Located near the beach and town so in easy reach of everything we needed. Friendly staff doing their best to make guests feel welcome and nothing too much trouble. Good parking. We had a superior room with a great view from our window. Handy bar adjacent to the hotel.

A wonderful weekend in such a lovely hotel! Nothing better than waking up to views across Summerleaze beach in the morning.
Great breakfast selection as well with super attentive staff. We had a few drinks at the bar as well which we thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately didn’t make it to dinner there as restaurant was fully booked so make sure to make a reservation.
Housekeeping did a great job as well with our room each day.
Thank you for a lovely stay

It was all good. The evening meal was much better than expected. A well-selected French Rose was available. The Sea Bream was perfect, as good as available anywhere. The vegetarian sweet potato stew was exceptional. This venue is a family enterprise (Kim and Monique); with Monique cooking, I was expecting Antipodean home cooking, which I have some experience pretending to enjoy. This was genuinely delicious food and wine.

Marhamchurch is a lovely little village and the shop is well stocked for essentials. We got dinner from the food van at the pub on the Wednesday which was really good. You can walk along the canal into Bude which is a little under 3 miles and is a very easy walk (apart from the hill out and back into Marhamchurch!). You can also walk across to Widemouth Bay which has a lovely beach.
