Excellent location, magnificent views. The owners have gone the extra mile for guests to feel special - homemade bread, muesli, marmelades for breakfast. Very comfortable beds, extremely friendly, yet discreet owners. Quiet and intimate hotel. If we ever visit this part of UK again, we will definitely be staying there again.

Astounding breakfast. It was the best ever. There was variety, all dietary needs accommodated, amble quantity, top quality…faultless!
The premises was amazing. So clean, comfortable, quiet, light, beautifully decorated.

The flat with two large double bedrooms, each with a bathroom (and lovely views), was immaculate and fully equipped and would be perfect for two couples. We hope to return. Parking was fine for our car (an estate).

What a great find! A really big apartment, with views out to sea. Large comfy sitting room, with a full kitchen and all amenities. Separate bedroom with a big comfy bed. We had our evening meal in The North Cliff Hotel, 50 yards away, which is owned by Steve and Rebecca, who own North Walk House. Our meals were freshly cooked when we arrived, and were perfect. The hotel and house have been lovingly restored by the two of them, and furnished with period pieces. Ask Steve to give you the history of the building. He is a mine of information and rightly proud of what they have achieved!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Rebecca who was warn , cheerful and friendly we were made to feel welcome immediately.
The hotel is tastefully decorated with fine furnishings. Our room was superb and with a sea view.
Prior to our arrival we had already had a three course lunch so unfortunately, we had no room to dine in the evening. Our breakfast was amazing and upon our check out we were able to speak to Steve. He was pleased with our comments and we ended up chatting about all sorts of things, that’s what we call friendly.
We will definitely be going back at some stage and would highly recommend the North Cliff Hotel

Good location for the many walks near by.
Good location for the many walks near by. Not many places to eat in the evening if you didn't want to drive any where. Lack of toilets for public use. You need to be quite fit to get the best out of Lynton as it is very hilly. People are friendly which was very good. I would recommend the Crown Hotel for food and good service.

We really enjoyed Lynton.
We really enjoyed Lynton. We walked from our hotel in Rockford and enjoyed a pint and great fish and chips on a quiet, out of season Sunday. I imagine it's a different proposition in the Summer, but we prefer places like this when it's a bit quieter.

Lynton/Lynmouth - vey nice area. We hiked from Lynmouth up the hill - going right to pub 'the blue ball inn' - then on to Watersmeet - from there up the stream to Rockford Inn and then down to Lynmouth again.
Really nice walk!

A small and friendly cliff side town with a wonderful cliff railway and a tea shop selling the very best cream teas in all the surrounding area. Ample parking in a large convenient carpark to the town with many shops and facilities.
The room was well decorated and well furnished, with two lovely chairs in the bay window overlooking the sea. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was lovely and spacious.
Breakfast offered a lot of choice and the foot was great. The couple who run the place were also lovely.
There is a sister hotel just 100m down the road where you can also order an evening meal, which gave us generous portions. I also love the honesty bar. It felt very homely and more like an apartment as we also had use of the guest lounge as well. Would thoroughly recommend.
This is the second time I have stayed at St. Vincent Guest House, and will probably be my place of choice for future stays in North Devon. Bed was great, enough to convince me to buy a memory foam mattress for my own bed at home! Hosts are great, as are their pets! Lynton is a great place to stay, calm and relaxed and worth returning to.
Great location, nice and quiet but still very close to lynton, lynmouth and Porlock.
The lanes and hill to get to the property didn't bother me in the slightest but I could see some may not like that.
Breakfast was nice with some good options.
Room was great, comfy beds compared to alot of hotels, big shower and tea and coffee facilities.
The location was perfect for exploring Lynton. Our host Drew was very helpful in suggesting a nearby restaurant and booking a nearby restaurant. The breakfast was outstanding! We thought parking on the street would be a problem, but after 4pm, spaces conveniently opened up. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed.
Couldn't fault a thing, spotlessly clean, beautiful room, comfy bed, great shower, lovely tea selection with biscuits. Owner very friendly and helpful. Breakfast absolutely delicious! Perfect location for seeing Lynton and Lynmouth. A ride on the water train a must! As well as a walk to the Valley Of the Rocks.
Let me explain why do I think this property is a 10. This is an old hotel. It is not the cleanest and beds are far from being comfortable. However the staff is nice, location is superb and for the price of a tent in that area you are getting a room with a shower and place to sleep. I think it’s a great deal.
Location was stunning facing the woodlands and with the sound of river Lyn / Lovely self contained flat, beautiful terrace, very well furnished, easy to walk to Lynton or Lynmouth. Bonus: they even had a bottle of wine for guests. Michelle and Lee are stunning hosts. Great holiday we had.
The location is great, very close to Lynton and Lynmouth where you can enjoy the best fish and chips and beautiful woodlands and beaches. We also loved our window facing the hill where animals were grazing freely most of the day. One last thing, the breakfast was delicious!
Great hotel, with attached bar and restaurant. Great location in Lynton close to the top of the cliff lift linking with Lynmouth. 10 minutes to Valley of the Rocks, and perfect for anyone walking the Southwest coastal Path. Good food and friendly staff.
Great location for hiking and likes the quietness of the hotel yet it’s close to Lynmouth and Lynton. Food and local ales were very good. Great welcoming atmosphere. The owners work hard to ensure the guests enjoy their stay. Would definitely return.
This small boutique hotel of 8 rooms was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. It was sited near the Cliff Railway giving access to Lynmouth as well as Lynton high street. An ideal get away for a few days break as a mature couple.
Breakfast was very good not too much choice but plenty for what you need. The view was fantastic over contisbury hill and lynmouth bay. We sat in the lounge with our own wine and enjoyed the evening sun setting. Bed was comfortable
The location is brilliant to base for lynton lynmouth area an easy walk into lynton and the surrounding areas and the SW coast path Aa RR d5 fantastic room to stay in we stayed in room 3 with the balcony it was awesome.
The property was fabulous, clean fresh spacious and everything you could need or want. Great location to explore lynton lynmouth or the rest of Devon. Couldn’t have been happier! Even had a parking space!
Breakfast was excellent. Interesting experience navigating to the hotel but once there secure parking. I did not need to move car once arrived as could walk to where we wanted to go.
Great location for Lynton and Lynmouth, Michelle met us on arrival and the cream tea left in the fridge was a real treat! The apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean,
