The staff and location are the biggest positives from this stay, staff were so welcoming and made us feel at home including our dog, the location couldn’t possibly be more central to Bourton, 20 second walk and you’re on the pretty bridges over the water. Our room was on the ground floor, it was an accessible room with us having a dog, it was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable. I can’t say our room was luxury as it wasn’t but we spent very little time in it due to the amazing location, but was certainly lovely enough to return again if revisiting. Breakfast was amazing! Parking was fine, it is tight so I’d recommend getting there early, if you came later on I can’t imagine you’d get a space as some cars were blocked in which would be an issue if setting off early. Smith’s burger place across the street was unreal, hugely recommend.

It is right in the center of Stow - you can walk through a small alley. The house is a nice old building with great atmosphere. I left my e-reader and they were so kind to keep it aside for me so that I could collect it. That was very helpful.

Just far away enough from the usual tourist centres of Stow and Bourton on the Water. Very pretty but still quiet country village. There are some good walks in the area and Upper slaughter is a don't miss place to see.

Beautiful hotel & grounds in idyllic village.
Beautiful hotel & grounds in idyllic village. Sadly the catering did not live up to expectation due to the quality, portion size & cost. Very disappointing meal.
Had hoped to bring my family there for my 80th birthday celebration. Will not recommend dining here but a lovely place to stay.

Lovely place to stay, superb area placed as it is beside the river eye and surrounded by well manicured gardens.
The hotel itself is clean, ordered and inviting. Reception staff welcoming , efficient & friendly. Staff on hand to help with luggage. We were pleasantly surprised we had been upgraded and delighted to be shown to a large, modern and nicely decorated ( & and spotlessly clean)room . Godolphin is one of the hotels superior rooms, situated in a quiet spot on the first floor of the hotel.
Breakfast ( included in our reservation) was freshly prepared and individually cooked to order, as were all other meals that we enjoyed at the venue.
Without exception all of the staff were professional but warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
All in all a great place to stay, dine in and enjoy.

Location was really lovely, loved how sweet lower slaughter was to walk around in the morning and felt like a little secret spot. Great location to then do all the Cotswold hotspots from there! Staff was so so friendly.
