Beautiful building - it must have been very special in its time - beautiful facade - big golden statues of eagles to walk through a suit of armour by a gorgeous sweeping staircase.
We loved the location on the river - over the bridge to a little island with tea rooms on - great little village with unexpectedly great wine tasting venue-a deli and cafe - top notch - a fabulous fish and chip restaurant and take away next door to that just round the corner- very quaint village.
The breakfast served in the restaurant was gorgeous- cooked buffet and toast preserves and juices/ cereals - excellent.
The food we ate there was very good indeed. We had Indian menu one night and English pub menu second night - excellent! Staff were very friendly but busy.

What a find! This little boutique hotel was lovely in many ways - and really accommodating when we missed our ferry, and massive credit to Isaiah for his help and support. Easily found off the main road, and not too far from the ferry or the northWales coast.
Breakfast was quick, and the cooked breakfast was lovely. Highly recommended.
The room was well furnished, and the roll-top bath a lovely surprise.
