The Bay Hotel, hotel in Lizard

The Bay Hotel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Coverack. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 1.4 km of Porthbeer Cove Beach.

This hotel is lying at my dream location: views on the village, meters away from the sea and the beach in Coverack. A big room with a fantastic view, lovely breakfast in the restaurant-room or the Serre at the front. The restaurant has a smaller menu, but the cook had great ingredients and skilful lucky hands. Food was excellent. You can also choose for the bar-menu, which is also very good. I discovered gin and tonic and made a study of it. Personnel is friendly and helpful. Telstar taxis will bring and take you to the beginning and end of your walks along this gorgeous coast and the inland. I loved room number 9, which is probably their best and biggest. It's the one I booked and paid for.

Idyllic Cornish Retreat At Puffin Lodge, hotel in Lizard

Offering a garden and garden view, Idyllic Cornish Retreat At Puffin Lodge is located in Helston, 16 km from Lizard Point and 29 km from Pendennis Castle.

My son and I had a lovely extended weekend break. The property was so nice. Very well equipped. It was deceptively spacious for 2. The shower was really lovely and we had everything needed. We took our doggie, where there was a lovely large safe space to walk him either end of the day. There was also a nice area directly outside to enjoy alfresco dining. Unfortunately, we didn't have the weather for that!! Louise was very welcoming and accommodating. Location wise, close to some very beautiful beaches and the nearest main town only 15 minute drive.

Beautiful area for walking and looking out for wildlife. Lots of good food to eat. The Top house Inn, Coast, Jimanjys Thai and Polpear cafe at Lizard point all had excellent food. If you can stay at the Old Bakery, Lizard.

The food at the hotel was exceptional, we had breakfast and evening meal which were delicious. The South West Coastal path runs along the bottom of the garden of the hotel so was easy to access so very good for walking. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly at the hotel. Our only criticism was that the beds were too hard for us so we didn't sleep very well.

So many places to see- if you drive, so much to explore, this is a must, you’ll never regret it. There are Michelin stars restaurants in a 20 min drive area, you xan see surfers riding the waves in November, it’s so lively

The hotel ist just magical and we enjoyed everything about our stay. Our room was modern, clean and usefully furnished. Even though it did not feature sea views, the downstairs sitting room and the terrace more than made up for it. The whole hotel is very tastefully decorated and the staff was just wonderful. The food at the restaurant was delicious and service prompt and friendly. I will dream about this wonderful place and hope to come back.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. They even hoisted the flags of our two home countries for us - what a special treat! We enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee, toiletries in the shared bathroom and a high level of cleanliness. The breakfast was exceptional with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and different warm options to choose from. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

The hotel is located on top of the most beautiful cliff overlooking Housel Bay. It was so special to wake up each morning and go to bed listening to the waves and watching the sun rise and fall. The lighthouse was a nice surprise, too! The staff, food and ambience of the hotel was wonderful. We headed down to the bay for a swim and kayak - a perfect little spot.
