Sadly the breakfast was not good. The bacon was overcooked. The mushroom was very tasteless. The tomato's and hash brown however were beautiful. The coffee also was of a poor standard and cold.
The staff were wonderful though as was the pub and setting

Friendly, welcoming - let us drop our car off in the morning and check-in in the evening.
Franco’s is a lovely restaurant. We were able to order just pasta dishes and a drink when we checked-in at 8.00 pm.

Fantastic food, beautiful building. The owners couldn't have been nicer, staff excellent. The food was delicious, plenty of choice. The hotel is right in the middle of Lavenham with free parking on the square outside. There were coffee and tea facilities and a TV and a very comfy bed with lovely bedding.

Breakfast was brilliant good quality food first class service
Ideally situated for our needs. Didn’t really spend much time in Little Waldingfield itself as we were visiting family in Lavenham and Soham. From what we saw of the area however was lovely nice to see green fields, a quaint little village.
Newnham Farm was perfect for us, both in location and the amenities provided.

I only stayed two nights for a family funeral in the locality. The area is lovely with lots of interesting places to visit. Historic Bury St Edmunds under 30 minutes drive away, well worth a visit. Beer festival being set up in the Cathedral! Lavenham on the doorstep which is chocolate-box and picture-postcardesque.

Homely, no pretenses, old world almost "biggie best" retro style accommodation, which we welcomed. Lots of warm water, towels and linen crisp and clean. We did miss having a shower as sadly, most older folk battle with baths. Our host was welcoming and warm, accommodating, made us lovely breakfasts and most informative. A very quiet working farm homestead stopover set amongst beautiful grounds, and highly recommended if you like this appeal - we did.
