The Kingsdon Inn, hotel in Kingsdon

Boasting a garden, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Kingsdon Inn is set in Kingsdon, 49 km from Longleat Safari Park and 50 km from Longleat House. The property offers a children's playground.

It was fairly close to A303 and Sparkford Hall where we were attending a family wedding. Breakfast was delicious with some unusual flavours (spiced apricots) and beautifully presented. Our room was prepared early for us. 😊 Thank you very much. The nightcap was so welcome to round off a great day.

The whole experience was fantastic, we don't often go away, so we really enjoyed ourselves. Normally we are on a budget, but we spent alot as it was our anniversary. However you can spend less if you are sensible. Wifi was patchy in certain areas as was the tv signal, but it didn't spoil our stay as it wasn't important to us. And there was a mix up with booking the room we requested, so if you prefer call to confirm your request ahead of your stay. But again the room we were given was lovely anyway.
