Breakfast was a bit thin - continental. Some people might want more. We managed. Very quiet, very few other guests. Good job it wasn't raining or to get to Room 11 , we'd have been a bit wet. Good value for the cost.

Lovely setting even though off a main road. Set up for weddings. Very well maintained both inside and out. Old buildings but nicely updated . Good shower and bathroom although in an old building. Beautiful location and barn could have been spectacular but it was very tired and needed some TLC. Furniture was old and not comfortable. The stairs are very precarious and not elderly/child friendly. It could do with a downstairs loo especially as one of the bedrooms is downstairs a having to get up in the night to use the bathroom it is not good to climb those stairs. The cooker/hob was very temperamental. It was said that there was a microwave and there wasn’t. The lighting was very inadequate to read by in the evening. All that being said we had a good five days and with a bit of updating it could be wonderful.
