Location - excellent, right in the heart of everything (shops, pubs, abbey)

Friendly welcome and helpful chap directed us to the carpark which was a little tricky to find at first
Room was ready earlier than expected so we checked straight in

Excellent stopping off point for the night. Super spacious room with bath as well as shower. Very helpful staff and dog friendly as well.
Beautiful location and barn could have been spectacular but...
Beautiful location and barn could have been spectacular but it was very tired and needed some TLC. Furniture was old and not comfortable. The stairs are very precarious and not elderly/child friendly. It could do with a downstairs loo especially as one of the bedrooms is downstairs a having to get up in the night to use the bathroom it is not good to climb those stairs. The cooker/hob was very temperamental. It was said that there was a microwave and there wasn’t. The lighting was very inadequate to read by in the evening. All that being said we had a good five days and with a bit of updating it could be wonderful.
