Perfect location with a great view over the marina and sea. Really convenient for catching the ferry in the morning. Lots of room and much better than a hotel. Owner communication was great and entry arrangements on arrival were really clear and straightforward. Plus a parking space just outside. Everything we needed: thank you!

Craig Eithin B & B, hotel in Holyhead

Craig Eithin B & B offers accommodation in Valley, a 10-minute drive to Holyhead sea port and Holyhead railway station. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. You will find a kettle in the room.

We stayed here when representing our club in a golf tournament. We arrived quite late at night due to a long drive from South Wales. Host was very welcoming and amiable with a great sense of humour. Beds comfortable. Room and en suite bathroom spotlessly clean. Breakfast choice was amazing and varied - was absolutely delicious. Local produce used where possible and served in a light, bright room.

Orient B&B, hotel in Holyhead

A recently renovated guest house in Holyhead and within 700 metres of Newry Beach, Orient B&B has a garden, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi.

The hostess set an easy-going, friendly atmosphere, and the guests talked together and with her at breakfast. She also helped with local information. The room had a calming simplicity. I was able to get an evening meal after coming in on the ferry. It was Sunday, and some places were shut.

Great place with coastal walks and coves to explore. Trearddur Bay is lovely with a number of secluded bays and most are blue flag beaches so very clean. South Stack Lighthouse and views are amazing especially at sunset and The Sea Shanty Cafe and Oceans Edge restaurant (Trearddur Bay) serve fabulous food from 11:30am onwards. Anglesey RSPB Visitors Centre and Elgins Tower is worth a visit with great viewing points and a cafe & small shop.

Holy head is a busy Central Town with lots of takeaways and pubs, making it easy in an evening of you don't want to cook. If you travel around the coast, there are some beautiful beaches and lovely places to eat. Oyster catcher is highly recommended.

Holyhead is very run down and could do with an injection of money to spruce it up. Ended up at The Chippy both nights as not many places to eat and what there was were fully booked. There is a lovely café where the RNLI is situated which opens early on a Sunday morning. Good for a stopover if travelling on the ferry.

What gem of a small, beautiful town.

What gem of a small, beautiful town. The people I met there were all so friendly. The best thing I enjoyed most was a two hour walk through the parkland with exquisite views. I went from walking along the harbor to walking along the bluffs overlooking the coast. The train/ferry station is within walking distance to the town center and beyond. Taxis are hard to come by, but I didn’t need one. I only stayed in Holyhead one night, but two nights would be ideal.

The property looked great, in a great location.

The property looked great, in a great location. The Garden Room is suitable as an extra bedroom for the main house, but was far too small with only limited facilities for an independent stay of more that one night.

Damian our host was very pleasant and and did everything that was asked of him. The chef came in early to cook us breakfast as we had to leave by 07.00. The location is adjacent to the Holyhead Ferry terminal so less than a minute to travel either walking or by car. Also only a short walk into town for evening meal etc

Perfect place for a stopover in Holyhead. Good location, handy to take train and ferry and within walking distance of town centre. Good room, very clean, quiet. Have some minor problem in the bathroom, but the host, a very charming lady, solved it promptly.
