Very friendly and helpful manager and his wife.
Room 2 was a lovely 16th century room with ensuite bathroom which was a good standard considering the economy price. The beer also tasted great!
Both pubs in the village were closed. The post Office and general stores is sadly stuck in the last century. The shelves were few, with lots of space between. It looked like a missed opportunity.
The atmosphere in the village was one of sadness.
