Rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly and polite. The food was very good; there was an interesting menu with an emphasis on local produce. The pub had a lovely garden.

The village has no shops, you have to drive out for everything. The property Dyes Cottage was awefull, beds with old saggy mattresses, couldn't sleep. All double beds have two single duvets, no sheets, the duvets are winter tog so very hot in summer, no sheet so you just lay on bed. mattress awful, not fit for purpose, reported to owner, but no response. written in feedback book twice since Feb, so they are aware of the problem. There is one on suite at the end of the upstairs, the other bathroom is shared between all other rooms and is located next to the bed with ensuite? floors are very creaky and noisy to walk across. bedroom floor slopes, oven was dirty and had burned food inside, kitchen cupboards were full of previous guest left overs including popcorn open from 2020, just shows how little they check their cleaners work. If you have a nut allergy I would stay clear of the kitchen. there is no downstairs bedroom so not suitable for disabled or those that can't do stairs, the outside table is vintage wood, covered in spider mites so you can't eat at that table. Overall this property is not worth the asking money, I would not recommend staying here. Our trip was ruined by lack of sleep and dirty facilities.

Hindolveston offers peace and tranquillity in a rural setting. Whilst set in the heart of Norfolk countryside, it is a not too far from historic towns like Holt and Sheringham, and just half an hour from the stunning Norfolk coastline. Restaurants can be found in nearby Holt or slightly further way in Wells or the Sheringham/Cromer area.

This is a lovely B&B gorgeous breakfast, great fried bread, and exceptional fruit that you could eat on its own or with cereal. Lovely location right in the country, and in the middle of things to visit or see, one does need a car to travel for evening meals etc. Very comfortable and restful.

The annex provided us with everything we needed including a large fridge for all our fresh food. It was ideal for catering for ourselves to save trying to find somewhere to eat with all the kitchen utensils, crockery and cooking facilities. Mary was very aware of providing gluten free food and the avoidance of cross contamination.
