For a one night quick stop this was perfect for us. My husband is 6ft 4 and we slept well in the pull down bed. Clean and it had everything we needed. We were only staying one night as cycled the Southdowns Way and thankfully the pub next door did great food.

The hotel has a lot of parking places and it was easy to find, it is located in a nice old building. And there is a restaurant ( we didn’t eat there ) and breakfast.

This was just a quick stop-over the night before the ferry from Newhaven so wasn't at the hotel for long but a beer after a long drive was most welcome! The staff were lovely and the hotel room as fine for what we needed. A decent shower in the bathroom being a notable highlight. All good.
Cute and well fitted out with all necessities for my stay. Good size for 1 or 2 travellers. Once I had the instructions how to get there and for entry, everything was easy. Easy to park. Nice and private and felt safe and secure. Compact yet still with space to move about in. Not too far to the nearest big village (Hassocks) and shops. There is a foot path all the way, so is possible to walk if you wanted (tho bring a torch if it's dark because there's no street lighting near the end).
It was a welcome break from hotel rooms, and this hut had all the facilities that you need for a weekend. There is also a nice pub next door with good pub grub and a pleasant atmosphere.
It is also a nice area to explore the South Downs, National Trust properties, and towns like Lewis—or the City of Brighton.
The Hut was immaculate in all respects, and very helpful owner.
Our room was very comfortable and the ensuite shower room was utra-modern and clean, with a very good shower. We couldn't fault it, and it was in a convenient location being situated in the centre of Hassocks.
There was no breakfast , this turned up to be NOT a hotel nor
a b and b , we were allowed to sleep in the spare bedroom in their family home, did have an ensuite shower room .
Very convenient for Pyecombe golf club and Hassocks station. Good instructions, easy to find. Nicely fitted out and easy to warm (very cold during our stay). Bed comfortable.
