Excellent service from the staff member who supported the Wake for my brother in law on 28th. Excellent layout & presentation of the room for the above & delicious food provided.
On booking through Booking.com then liasiing with reception staff, a reallocation of a ground floor room with a river view was easily agreed. Great for viewing the busy river traffic including cruise ships to Amsterdam.
Nothing was too much trouble for anyone.
this is such a great place for those of you who like beach...
this is such a great place for those of you who like beach walks and sea air. The location is a great base for both the promenade and town as well as travelling further up the coast for more remote and historical areas. One of my favourite places to go.

It is a quiet location seaview and a short walk to beach. Local bus route to blyth and whitleybay through to newcastle. Also a nice long walk to the lighthouse and coast. A few local pubs and a club in the area.
