Long Crendon Manor B&B, hotel in Haddenham

Long Crendon Manor is located in Long Crendon. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a terrace, a minibar and a seating area.

My wife and I recently stayed at Long Crendon Manor B&B, a stunning Tudor Manor House nestled in the charming village of Long Crendon, Berkshire. This historic property, dating back to 1187, is a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort, offering breathtaking views and beautifully appointed rooms. Our stay in the Laline's Bedroom was nothing short of spectacular. The room featured antique furniture, a luxurious four-poster bed, and exposed oak beams, creating an elegant and cozy ambiance. The en-suite bathroom and large flat-screen TV added a touch of modernity without detracting from the room's historic character. We also enjoyed views of the Chiltern Hills and the picturesque courtyard. The breakfast at Long Crendon Manor was a delightful experience. Everything was locally sourced, with some homemade elements, including delicious sausgaes and bacon. The vast dining room, with its period features and warm atmosphere, made breakfast a memorable part of our stay. The manor's amenities and activities added to the charm. The beautiful gardens with a maze and the nearby walking routes provide ample opportunities for relaxation and exploration. The hosts, Tim and Sue, were exceptionally welcoming and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality, along with the charming presence of their St Bernards, Marmaduke and Molly, made us feel right at home. Overall, our stay at Long Crendon Manor B&B was a delightful blend of history, comfort, and warm hospitality. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique and luxurious countryside retreat to head to Long Crendon and stay at the Manor.

Oaks Barn, hotel in Haddenham

A recently renovated holiday home located in Chinnor, Oaks Barn features a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

We had a wonderful stay at Oaks Barn. The owners were lovely and welcoming. The property was spotlessly clean, the shower was powerful and the bed was really comfortable. We also enjoyed the varied breakfast, which had been well thought through. We’d love to return again when we’re back in the area. Many thanks.

A picture-postcard village with good public transport options for Oxford and beyond. Tiggywinkles wildlife sanctuary is ideal for anyone with young children, with lots of talks and activities plus a great picnic and play area. Just a walk around the village is a treat. I hadn’t realised but should have guessed that this is where many a Midsomer Murder was filmed!
