Lastra Farm Hotel, hotel in Gwredog

This highly commended hotel in Amlwch, Anglesey has a restaurant with a fine reputation for serving only the freshest of ingredients.

This is the second time we stay here. The pub serves great food. We had to wake up very early to catch the ferry from Holyhead, and they were very kind to give us a packed breakfast so we could take with us. They're very dog friendly, they greeted our dog with a bag of treats and a ball which she loved. The rooms are very comfortable. The area is super quiet and relaxing.

Holland Hotel, hotel in Gwredog

Holland Hotel has a shared lounge, restaurant, a bar and water sports facilities in Llanfachraeth.

We were travelling in Wales & not booking far in advance. Angelsey on a Bank Holiday Weekend did not have numerous options within our budget. We had a great stay for two nights. The rooms are located above the Pub in a very old building and are very basic. Ours was room 1 directly above the Pub and we were warned it could be a little noisy. ( it was a little ) The room was small with twin beds( comfortable ) as well as a bunk bed, the bathroom large! The owner was accommodating, the pub great for conversations with the local residents ( we got lots advice about the area) breakfast was good and we had dinner both nights as well.

Welcoming, friendly place, very good base to explore island as central, you need a car to get about, as a bit remote. We visited Beaumaris, Holyhead, South Stack, Coast path, Parys Coppermine. Excellent huge cooked breakfasts, good value pub meals with veggie options. Liked the fresh milk in the little fridge in room for making tea or coffee. Caters for doggie guests too. Good value b&b pub, not "grand" or "gastro" but most people will find it caters for them just fine.
