The receptionist that checked us in was lovely. We were cold (this weather!) and she provided each of us with an extra duvet. The breakfast was very good and the waiter was very nice. When we checked out, the receptionist very kindly kept our luggage for the day.

Quirky, very well presented and a beautifully designed and styled new dining area, looking over the edge of Royal Tunbridge Wells common. The room was spacious, clean with a welcome a/c unit. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive and all very likeable. The location is perfect for exploring the numerous historic houses and preserved railways in the area. Oh, and the food is perfect, not too fussy, rustic, generous portions and within everyone’s budget. It is obviously popular with the local clientele, so book early. I can’t fault it!
Location is very nice and picturesque. I thought the food in the pub was quite pricey for what it was. Nice room overlooking the grounds but noisy at night but that's the guests not the accommodation!

A lovely village, surrounded by great country walks, fabulous scenery. There is a beautifully kept station with steam trains, Groombridge Place is great for kids and Tunbridge Wells is close, with a great variety of restaurants.
