Useful location and property was clean (didn't utilise kitchen as only there for the night as a stop over). Enclosed garden was a bonus though a bit muddy for us during our stay!

The hotel is simply beautiful. My room (401) ticked all my boxes. Spotless, beautifully furnished , great range of toiletries and refreshments.
Staff were super helpful. Reception staff both on
arrival & departure were so warm and welcoming. Evening staff in Elemis were so attentive. The Irish gentleman (with the hair band) offered fantastic hospitality and recommendations. He delivered way over the extra mile. Finally’Debbie’ at breakfast. She put a smile on my face as she was so down to earth (even if the flat white she made my business partner was below par). Thank you for making a business trip feel more like a pleasure break.

Nice big room, big bed and bathroom, though the shower cubicle was very small and the tap system was too big for such a small space. I would say those fancy 'Victorian' taps do not actually work as well as they should. Dinner was very nice. Plenty of free parking.

We stayed in Wallys Wagon for the night and have to say, it was an amazing night! We had the ponies, alpacas and donkeys greeting us right by our wagon! The space is great, especially if you have a dog as they’re basically enclosed gardens. The fact the hot tub is private and closed off too is a really nice touch! We drove the the pub up the road, the Bay Horse Inn and had some food which was lovely. We will definitely be visiting again soon :)

Cottage was absolutely perfect as was the greeting from owners. The intermittent wifi was anticipated because of location and weather. The road noise was not anticipated and spoilt the stay somewhat. Obviously the owners have no control over this and it is also down to individual preferences.

Really lovely place to stay.
Really lovely place to stay. Had two double rooms and an open fire place. Loads of things to do in the property like puzzles, book and games.
Lovely host and you were left alone to get on with it. Short trip into town for dinner and sorted for the evening. Both my colleague and I would stay again without hesitation.

Nice location and the hot tub was fab.
Nice location and the hot tub was fab.
Have to say, thought it was a bit pricey and info regarding the site and facilities was minimal. The showers were anything but obvious and there was no info about them in the cabin.
It rained permanently all the time there and getting stuff from the van to the cabin wasn't without difficulty.
Nice and quirky but not worth the price.
Also wasn't that quiet with a main road running just behind the cabin.

It is a lovely spot and convenient for York and Harrogate. The hot tub was lovely after a day shopping / sightseeing and they keep it well maintained and chemicals checked daily. A few items were missing from the kitchen and not enough towels but we only had to mention these minor points and the missing items were there when we returned at the end of that day. The property is lovely and cosy with a log burner and was great for a short break with friends.
Such an amazing place highly recommend the gorgeous walks around the farm the scenery is beautiful and York Harrogate and knaresborough are a short drive away with a lovely pub selling amazing food in the village 2 miles away the bay horse green hammerton. Staff were very friendly and the cottage had everything you need even a supply of board games and some dvds for chilled evenings in. Definetly staying here again.
-contained everything you would need for a long weekend
-thought had been taken in designing the decor
-Good appliances and easy to use
-space had been used effectively
-plenty of parking
-easy reach of York or other attractions
Very close to the town center and easy to find. Very clean and perfect. Single parent traveling with my daughter so this was much better than going for two separate rooms at a hotel. And much cheaper.
Cottage very nice, with a great hot tub. Good Chinese close by and Asda shop at the local garage. We also found a nice cafe for breakfast at the Post Office Green Hammerton.
