Nice spacious room friendly welcome and nice clean
Coming from an area with a defunct seaside town. Margate , I thought yarmouth was brilliant, plenty to do for young families, no litter, no bad language on the street, kiddies being looked after by parents, flowers in the flower beds,I no boarded up properties on the seafront, hotels open, I congratulate the council for a well presented promenade , plenty of families out enjoying themselves.

The beaches are clean with plenty of space so no overcrowding. Plenty do do during the day walks along the beach, go to the arcades and even along a long road mooching in shops. Plenty of places to eat Las Palmas great for a breakfast and Planet Poppadum if you don't fancy fish and chips. If you fancy a walk along the beach from one pier to another and your too tired to walk back hop on the little road train at £2 one way or £3 return the little ones will love it.

The atmosphere is lively and fun, we chose a mid week stay so it wouldn't be to busy, as i know it gets very crowded at weekends, the pleasure beach is my favourite place its amazing, the eating options are endless all over!!, we had fantastic weather so it didn't hamper us doing anything, getting about is no problem, there's buses along the front every 15 minutes and a little train runs allday and then there's the horses and cart rides too, so much to do and choose from, we were lucky enough to be there for the fireworks display on a wed night it was brilliant, but we missed out on seeing a show on pier the dates didn't coincide with our stsy otherwise we would have gone, the front is alive night and day! So lots of fun to be had!......

I liked the place I stayed but the only issue was parking I didn’t dare going out in the car during the weekend otherwise the place would have been gone and there would been nowhere to park, Paget Road seemed very busy for a side road mainly people trying to find somewhere to park so I got the bus to Gorlston and anywhere out of Great Yarmouth but it would be nice to go out in the car.

The Royal Hotel was convenient for all amenities.
The Royal Hotel was convenient for all amenities. Due to parking on arrival we had lunch at the Premier Inn. Staff very helpful and busy. We went sight seeing on the viewing wheel and enjoyed the Hippodrome followed by the fireworks in the evening as it was a Wednesday. We didn't go on the beach as it was too windy and wet on the full day we were there but grandsons enjoyed a swim at the Marina Pool while we shopped. We ate at the 50's Diner on the front, again good service. We went to the motor racing stadium on the Thursday evening another good evening entertainment. Before leaving on Friday the grandsons enjoyed the arcades.
The Kensington was very close to the main town centre. A flat walk along the front or through the waterways park which is beautiful and well looked after.
Car parking on site.
Hotel dog friendly with a designated area Option for eating with your pet in the restaurant and a sausage for them at Breakfast.
Evening menu was very good and reasonably priced.
Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of a full English and vegetarian choices, always served hot. With Tea/coffee and toast.
This is my 2nd visit to the Oyo Studiotel. I always choose it when coming to Great Yarmouth because the rooms are big and include a small kitchen for making snacks or a light breakfast. The rooms are clean and self contained with everything you need for your stay and the staff are very friendly. It is an excellent location for both the seafront and shops and I highly recommend it.
Spindrift is ideally located being five minutes walk from the seafront and the town centre with its myriad of shops and eateries. The rooms have everything you need to relax after a busy day of holiday fun. Breakfast will set you up for the day offering a full English or a lighter bite continental style. Dawn and her team are welcoming and knowledgeable about the area.
The location is great, right on the seafront and near the pleasure beach. Everything is in walking distance from this hotel. It has a bar with entertainment. Drink prices are reasonable too. Breakfast very basic but OK.
