This bungalow is a little gem. We went to a wedding at Whinstone View and this was the perfect location to get there. We were so impressed with this accommodation, they have thought of everything, from all the toiletries you could need to thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and all sauces/condiments in the cupboards.
We recommend the fish & chip shop in Great Ayton for a great take away.
There is full Sky TV inc Sky Sports, very comfortable bed and sofa, dining table, full cooking facilities and everything you could want including iron and ironing board. Also plenty of parking.
Communication was great ahead of our stay, we would highly recommend this property.

Great village with a couple of good pubs and a convenient supermarket. There is a train station in the village where you can catch a train to Whitby. We walked up to Roseberry Topping which has fantastic views - and we managed to walk from the village so didnt need to worry about finding a parking space. There are footpath walks to Stokesley which goes past the G&T rooms - great for a coffee and cake.

Great Ayton is a beautiful village, on the edge of the North York moors with easy access to Teesside and the coast, with lots of stone cottages flanking the river Leven which runs through its heart. It has a 12th century Norman church, a Captain Cook Museum because the navigator lived and went to school here, a renowned ice cream shop and butchers famous for its pies as well as an excellent fish and chip shop, three pubs and some delightful cafes.

Great Ayton is a small village that is near Middlesbrough.
Great Ayton is a small village that is near Middlesbrough. It offers a peaceful location whilst at the same time offering enough facilities such as shops, pubs and take aways.
It is well located for people who wish to explore the countryside or venture further afield to the coast eg Scarborough or Whitby.
We stayed in a delightful modern bungalow that allowed dogs to stay. The property was very comfortable, with private off road parking and was situated within 5 minutes walking time from the village
