A great little pad for a stay near London or (as i was) working in Kent. The fridge in the room was a welcome addition. The room was clean and had been decorated relatively recently.

This place is a house not hotel. They do not supply breakfast, but lovely comfortable beds. Coffee milk and sugar supplied.
A convenience store just round corner. Also fish and chip shop. Across the street is a Chinese Take away. Buses stop outside for Gravesend town or Dartford town.
Just a minute’s drive from the M25, Holiday Inn Express London - Dartford is located at the foot of the eye-catching Queen Elizabeth II Bridge. Guests can enjoy the onsite bar.

Gravesend is a quite town on the Thames Estuary with a park and a promenade. Buses go to Chatham where there is a big Bus station. Can get buses going all over Kent. Also buses to Dartford and Bexleyheath. Trains to London take 1 hour. April has an Indian Festival. Also St Georges festival. Fireworks in November.

Gravesend has deteriorated over the years.
Gravesend has deteriorated over the years. It is not worth visiting. The restaurants are few and far. I can recommend a superb local pub named the Compass: great beer and great company. Gravesend is not worth visiting (unfortunately). The last time I was there wad 1982 and it was a thriving market town but now …

Gravesend is a typical declining British town.
Gravesend is a typical declining British town. The high Street is poor, there are 2 shopping centres that you can go round in literally 5 minutes. If it wasn't for the fact that we have family connections there, we wouldn't bother with the place.

Very nice small town with a beautiful promanade next to the river. Nice view on the river with the green area and benches that you can sit on them and relax. For short visit/weekend it's absloutely fine. For longer can be boring.

I liked the walk to the town the buses on time when you want to catch one. As it was nice day we walked.
The town has plenty of life in it. Lots of shops. Asda.Mc Donald's and other shops to brows in.
This is a budget level and affordable hotel and was reasonably priced and the review is given in this context..
Good location for what I needed close enough to the town centre. Staff were extremely helpful as I was unwell and changed my room to a spare ground floor level room so I wouldn't need to negotiate any stairs.I liked the fact there was a microwave In the room and all the necessary cutlery and plates & bowls which came in handy for me. The room had a very good shower. The room was more than adequately sized.
Good value for money, closer to a 4 star hotel than a 3 star hotel. Having stayed in a different hotel every day over the last week, one of the biggest issues I've found is finding a quiet room. During my entire stay, I don't think I heard a single noise outside my room, making it very easy to relax. Staff were proactive and made sure not to keep you waiting. Free off-road parking.
This was our second stay at the Granby Hotel. It is beautifully clean and comfortable and the breakfast is really good! The staff are welcoming and friendly and Shane, in particular, stands out. We had a problem with controlling the temperature of our shower, but he fixed it within minutes. He goes above and beyond every time.
Everything about the room was great, the price was fantastic and I had a look at the breakfast room and wished I could stay for breakfast! Really friendly and near to some interesting pubs and venues. Frequent buses to the town centre but it's a pleasant walk in a straight line, took me 20 minutes at a leisurely pace.
Good location, within walking distance of a number of pubs/town centre. The wife left her necklace in the room when we checked out, and they contacted us about it. We arranged postage, sent them the postage label and they returned the necklace - great service.
Room on the ground floor was clean and spacious. We had an outside patio area with table and chairs which overlooked the lakes. We had lunch at the hotel sitting outside overlooking the lakes and the food was nice and well presented.
Very clean ,room was small but served it's purpose,,bar/restaurant area is nice but not used other than for breakfast which was a shame ,,the bar wasn't staffed pity I would have used it ,, otherwise great value for money hotel
Phantastic place for visiting Kent. Debbie is a brilliant host and very funny. Thanks for everything, especially all the little extras. Hopewell felt like home and is definitely worth a visit. I enjoyed my stay very much.
The apartment was great, very clean and nicely decorated. We were very comfortable and happy in there. off street parking was great. Lots of room and easy to drive to shops and town. Nice quiet area.
Great place to stay we were visiting brands hatch
Bar area and dinning room so clean rooms very nice plenty of room staff were very friendly definitely recommend this hotel
The bar area could do with an upgrade and a bigger dining room would be welcome with table service the bar area could also be modern and not so much like a town hall vibe
Perfectly placed for quick access to railway station, which is why we booked there - certainly not for scenery in central Gravesend! Well equipped and comfortable.
The card keys worked with no trouble, lovely staff and excellent location for us. Food next door was great and kids had a play area. Very good for families
