Location was great, was able to park close by. Staff were friendly. Our bed was comfortable and sheets were crisp and white as were the towels. Breakfast on the first morning was well organised and efficient, the food was cooked fairly quickly and to a good standard but unless you had hot food there was only cereal and toast on offer.

Grassington Lodge, hotel in Grassington

In the southern region of the Yorkshire Dales, Grassington Lodge provides comfortable accommodation in the pretty village of Grassington.

Me and my girlfriend went to beck hall in Skipton as a gift for high tea but as it’s a 2 1/2 hour drive and south a lovely area, we thought we’d stay the night. We picked Grassington lodge as it wasn’t far away from where we were and it didn’t disappoint. Such a lovely quiet little village and the lodge was lovely. Full instructions by text from the lovely Lindsey, about key codes and letting ourselves in as she was really busy. Lovely room, sweets on pillows for each of us (I got both lots lol). Very clean and nice and quiet. Absolute relaxation in such a lovely little village. As an honest review about good and bad points, we came away with nothing bad to say about our experience. For once me and my girlfriend agreed on 1 thing……we'll be back! Thank you very much Lindsey for our stay and only being a phone call away. See you soon x (unfortunately as we just booked on the spur of the moment, both our phones died so couldn’t get pics but you definitely won’t be disappointed!)

Grassington is a very popular pretty village located in the Yorkshire Dales park. The village has been made famous by the filming of All creatures, great and small. It Has plenty of good bars, restaurants and eateries. Parking is a bit tight during summer periods. If you wish to stay in the area I would suggest to book early.

Wonderful village with excellent amenities and ideal for scenic walks followed by food! great range of cafes, pubs, hotels, fish and chips and a variety of shops. Only slight niggle is the parking is slightly expensive at £3.50 for 2 hrs or £5.50 all day - although card machines were easy to use. There is limited free parking in the village itself but limited to 2 hrs and generally full

All the creative decorations give the entire place (entrance, hall, staircase, room and dining hall) a welcoming and warm atmosphere, without making it kitschy. All of the little details, starting with the handmade shelves, hand-crafted art works all-around the walls, the check-in experience, the Scandinavian style no-shoe policy, ending with how the cooked breakfast is prepared make it obvious that Craiglands is not just a typical B&B in the heart of Yorkshire Dales, but an inviting space that is taken care truly with heart and soul.

The Emthwaite Escape must be the top place that my wife and I have stayed at in our long marriage. All facilities were excellent. The view from the window/garden was tranquil and spectacular. The hosts were kind enough to put milk, cold water and cans of Coke in the fridge, as well as biscuits and crisps on the table. We spent three evenings sitting on the patio area admiring the beauty that is the Yorkshire Dales. We would recommend the Escape to all who want peace and quiet.

Absolutely fabulous location. The room was beautiful and clean, lovely decor, well designed with everything you could possibly need. We had the garden room which had its own door leading out into the garden, which had wonderful views of the Yorkshire Dales. The hosts were welcoming on arrival, a warm wonderful breakfast was delivered to our room daily at a time that suited us. Nothing more I can add other than perfect.. Will definitely be visiting again..

The welcome at Ashfield House was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and catered for all tastes and appetites. Our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The location was in the centre of Grassington but it was set back so no sounds to disturb our sleep. Our hosts did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and we will certainly stay there again, many thanks from Tony and Kathy

Ashfield House is a lovely place. This was our third visit as we were taking friends from Australia to show them Grassington and the area. The location is perfect just off the little market square with many restaurants and pubs a few minutes away. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are very friendly and they serve a wonderful breakfast.

Perfectly placed for what we wanted...the Dickensian Market. Unfortunately it was cancelled because of Covid, but there was a Xmas market and we enjoyed our visit to Grassington regardless. The hotel was clean, beautifully equipped and the room was very comfortable. Also the staff were very attentive and efficient.

Everything. Grassington is a fantastic place to relax. Lottie’s Loft is right at the center of the village, close to pubs, shops, various walking trails and the local bus stop. Close to the river! It is exceptionally cozy, private and specious ( especially for a single traveler). Good Wi-Fi , clean .
