Location was great, was able to park close by. Staff were friendly.
Our bed was comfortable and sheets were crisp and white as were the towels.
Breakfast on the first morning was well organised and efficient, the food was cooked fairly quickly and to a good standard but unless you had hot food there was only cereal and toast on offer.

Location was excellent. A few nice touches like fresh milk and home-made biscuit in the room. The room was clean and bright. The person who served us breakfast was nice.

Me and my girlfriend went to beck hall in Skipton as a gift for high tea but as it’s a 2 1/2 hour drive and south a lovely area, we thought we’d stay the night. We picked Grassington lodge as it wasn’t far away from where we were and it didn’t disappoint. Such a lovely quiet little village and the lodge was lovely. Full instructions by text from the lovely Lindsey, about key codes and letting ourselves in as she was really busy. Lovely room, sweets on pillows for each of us (I got both lots lol). Very clean and nice and quiet. Absolute relaxation in such a lovely little village. As an honest review about good and bad points, we came away with nothing bad to say about our experience. For once me and my girlfriend agreed on 1 thing……we'll be back! Thank you very much Lindsey for our stay and only being a phone call away. See you soon x (unfortunately as we just booked on the spur of the moment, both our phones died so couldn’t get pics but you definitely won’t be disappointed!)

Wonderful village with excellent amenities and ideal for scenic walks followed by food! great range of cafes, pubs, hotels, fish and chips and a variety of shops. Only slight niggle is the parking is slightly expensive at £3.50 for 2 hrs or £5.50 all day - although card machines were easy to use. There is limited free parking in the village itself but limited to 2 hrs and generally full

Grassington is a lovely place & well worth a visit.
Grassington is a lovely place & well worth a visit. There are pubs, restaurants & cafes, all of which are of a very good standard. It's small & quaint and a great base for walking from. It's great!
All the creative decorations give the entire place (entrance, hall, staircase, room and dining hall) a welcoming and warm atmosphere, without making it kitschy. All of the little details, starting with the handmade shelves, hand-crafted art works all-around the walls, the check-in experience, the Scandinavian style no-shoe policy, ending with how the cooked breakfast is prepared make it obvious that Craiglands is not just a typical B&B in the heart of Yorkshire Dales, but an inviting space that is taken care truly with heart and soul.
Located between Grassington and Pateley Bridge, the Clarendon Country Pub was in the perfect Yorkshire Dales location for walks and exploring. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and very accommodating of our travelling with a dog. The food was outstanding - congratulations to the chef, and the breakfast menu was extensive. Very comfortable room that even had proper plunger coffee and not just Nescafe sachets. I would highly recommend dining and staying here.
A very well situated place to stay to access the Yorkshire Dales & beyond. A great welcome from Valentine, front of house, who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble. The room was exceptional, with a bathroom you could have held a dance in. The food was very good value and a hearty portion. Breakfast set us up for the day, as we only needed a snack at lunch!!
Would recommend The Tennants arms & can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely fabulous location. The room was beautiful and clean, lovely decor, well designed with everything you could possibly need. We had the garden room which had its own door leading out into the garden, which had wonderful views of the Yorkshire Dales. The hosts were welcoming on arrival, a warm wonderful breakfast was delivered to our room daily at a time that suited us. Nothing more I can add other than perfect.. Will definitely be visiting again..
We had an absolutely lovely weekend staying at Orchard Guest house. Mary Is a wonderful human who is there for anything you may need. She makes a great breakfast for the morning & you feel right at home. The location is fab- and the Clarendon hotel was so good for food!! Thanks Mary for a much needed relaxing break in the Yorkshire Dales. We will be back, Zoe & Phil x
Relaxed Yorkshire ambience. Great location. Friendly staff. Clean room. Plenty of tea and coffee making facilities, and 2 bottles of water.
Also, managed to get a free parking space in the market square. Try that before going to the car parks because it’s much closer to the pub hotel for lugging your luggage there.
Everything was exceptional from the location to the food to the comfort of the rooms, but the staff really make it shine. Such incredible and warm hospitality, I can’t wait to come back again. Very easy drive to Gordale Scar and other destinations near the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The room was very comfortable, and with a great view. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good, with plenty of choice. The staff in the restaurant and behind the bar were efficient, and also very friendly. The hotel is located in the centre of Grassington.
Not many places have private parking in Grassington centre but Ashfield House does.
Very friendly welcome from all. The breakfast service was great, the food tasty & hot. A comfortable nights sleep and the shower was excellent too
The staff were very helpful. We arrived with sodden clothes from a downpour and were offered use of the tumble drier. Bed was v comfy. Room was small but smart. Breakfast at The Devonshire Hotel was excellent.
Staff & Hotel owners were all very friendly & super welcoming, breakfast was delicious, hearty & most excellently served to your table.
Ideal location, perfectly placed in Center of Grassington town.
The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the village. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, delicious, made to order, every desire was met (hot chocolate), and the service was excellent.
Really nice hotel in a pub in a fab location in the Yorkshire Dales. Lovely room with a cracking view over the square. Nice place for a little break for a few days. Would recommend.
Beautiful location, lovely quiet hotel, it's old and a bit dusty but that's okay, has everything you need lovely bath tub, evening meal and breakfast very nice
