The place was very well equipped, anything you needed was there. Remarkably clean and it smelt nice ! I asked for something a little special for our 5th anniversary, and Clair went above and beyond and made our whole stay very welcomed, and peaceful ! We had a lovely night stay at the annexe which was really spacious, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for a Wedding that we attended nearby. The hosts were very thoughtful and checked in to ensure we had a good nights sleep and had everything we needed. Also a very nice touch providing bread and biscuits.

Quiet rural location accessible to lots of places. Secure parking on site. Very welcoming and hospitable hosts who clearly enjoy their roles. The food was excellent. Great choice of drinks. Breakfast was superb. Nothing too much trouble.

Hosts were very friendly ,breakfast was great, room comfortable ,great views from the rooms. No TV .
Very remote and no passing areas in the lanes on the approach road ,hard to find in the dark when returning from a meal .
As we only stayed for 1 night we never went to the village.
If we stayed again it would be spring or summer time when the evenings were light.
