Just missing a shower, although, I understand it would be difficult to put one in there. Also the cooked breakfast was good, but it would have been nice to have some fruit and another alternative..... scrambled egg and salmon say.

Great location. 5-10 minutes drive from the centre of Bridlington. There's a bus stop going to either Filey or Bridlington a 2 minute walk from the cottages. North Beach is very close by also.
Fantastic amenities at the cottages, HDR TV, fridge/freezer, washing machine, Tassimo coffee machine, toaster and loads of leaflets showing what's going on around the area.

We were travelling on a motorbike, this being our last stop before heading home. After 14 days travelling various hotels, pubs, cottages, this was up there with the best of the places to stay. Having stayed before, several times, we knew it would be as good. Staff are great, remaining very professional even with a car accident in the car park. Well done team.

Flamborough is as it always has been, despite growing a little. The people are friendly without being intrusive, food well cooked and generous . The attraction for me is the space. The sea obviously but there is that same sense looking inland.
This is not to say that if you choose, you cannot find the bustle of nearby towns with excellent shopping. Lovely area.

Flamborough is perfect for those who enjoy walking, wildlife and an unspoiled location, the village itself is quiet with all the amenities we needed, good pubs, delicious fish and chips, well stocked supermarket, we did not try the cafes, a perfect place with easy access to very dramatic cliffs with well maintained coastal paths in both directions.

Great choice of dining with the Ship Inn.
Great choice of dining with the Ship Inn. Also fish & chip shop in the village & at least one other pub. Quiet location, but with easy access to other coastal resorts. There is also a good bus service and it is a compact village making it easy to get around.

We came to visit Flamborough as we live in Flamborough Road many miles away from the place itself and I was always curious how it is there. And indeed, there is so much to see and do. We went to North Landing (our favourite, especially up the cliffs), South Landing, Lighthouse and nearby beech down the steep stairs, we love the sea, so we enjoyed it from every corner possible. Driving further away it is only 30min to Scarborough and a bit less to Filey and 1hr drive to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Amazing and must see places. The weather wasn't always kind to us, but for the the views it was all well worth it.
