This property was fantastic. It was spacious and very clean with plenty of facilities and extra little touches. The owners kept in good contact and were friendly. The site itself is quiet but with a great park and local attractions. Would definitely recommend to families or groups of friends.

It's a wonderful old hotel. I would describe the hotel as 'shabby chic' spliced with old school charm. There were many original features, including a lovely wrought iron balustrade. The beds were very comfortable, it was clean, and the breakfast very ample and well cooked. They were preparing for a wedding whilst we were there, and the staff had it looking lovely!

Perfect place to escape to hustle and bustle of busy life!
Perfect place to escape to hustle and bustle of busy life! Kids loved it and would have moved in permanently if they were allowed haha!
Hosts were more than accommodating and was very clean when we arrived! Hot tub had its own privacy which was an added bonus! Fully fitted kitchen with even a freezer which you don’t always find in a caravan! Beds were really comfy! Tv was a smart tv which was a bonus for the kids. Definitely recommend.

location couldn't been better ,you need a car to get about to get the most out of your break, ie Holy Island, Scotland, there is great walks and the beech is a short walk away.We as a family could have done with another week, to explore the surrounding sites castles, lot of the places are dog friendly, which is another bonus.

We were originally told we couldn't book a party of 6 girls ,when we explained that we were just wanting a relaxed little break away & that we wouldn't cause any problems we were giving the go ahead ,we had waited over 15 months due to other cancellation with covid so we were very happy we had the chance to go ,we had afternoon tea at the running fox 5 minutes up the road .

The cottage is a drive away from Felton and you have to get in the car for almost anything you want except (bizarrely) a post box. We had a drink in the golf club; the menu looked fine, though we didn't eat there.
Worth booking tables at popular local pubs etc - we were unlucky at the Northumberland Arms in Felton itself, but so pleased to eat at the restaurant attached to the famous smokery in Craster: highly recommended.
Very well placed just off the A1 for exploring fabulous Northumberland.
