The Royal Oak is a stunning old building with lots of original features. Tastefully decorated with a warm homely feel. Perfect location for the town. I parked on Bewdley street long stay carpark, it’s at the most a 3 minute walk from the property.
I was greeted by a lovely member of staff in the bar & taken to my room, he even offered to carry my bag up the stairs, perfect gentleman.
The room was clean & comfortable. I absolutely loved the original features, the beams & the beautiful old lead windows. My room was at the front of the property looking out onto the high street. There was plenty of tea/coffee etc which was lovely as often in hotels there’s only enough for a drink. The bathroom looked newly fitted, absolutely spotless, lovely toiletries & white fluffy towels. Comfortable bed with crisp white sheets. The room even had an iron & ironing board.
The Bell Tent - overlooking the moat with decking, a property with a garden, is situated in Evesham, 29 km from Walton Hall, 31 km from Warwick Castle, as well as 36 km from Lickey Hills Country Park....

Very cozy and well-equipped for a short glamping getaway. The 'outhouse' is very modern and clean. Unfortunately it started to rain and we didn't get a chance to light a fire -- that would have made it a perfect experience.
A recently renovated holiday home situated in Evesham, Little Moat - Moat Farm Barns a small modern studio in the garden on our family farm features a garden.

I provided my own breakfast as wasn't sure what would be offered - there was a small selection of cereals. The annexe had good facilities and overall a good spot for an overnight stay.
Nestled amid tranquil gardens, this romantic Tudor manor is ideally located in Shakespeare country, within easy reach of Henley-in-Arden, historic Kenilworth, Warwick Castle and the Cotswolds

Evesham is a market town and it's quite noticeable which is the oldest part of the town with Abbey ruins and the Almonry and the beautiful area called Hampton Ferry along Boat Lane. Lovely riverside gardens at Abbey Gardens.
Furthest end of the High Street, Bridge Street (walk over the bridge to views of River Avon) etc is where you'll find the majority of shops. But I feel some other parts of the town are quite poor and could do with a facelift.
Monica's Fish Bar and Restaurant - this was wonderful, a clean restaurant and such generous portions. The OAP meal for £9 (May 2024) was an absolute bargain with a pretty large portion of fish!! And lovely polite staff.
Pop into The Almonry Museum for the Tourist Information Office and pick up a few little souvenirs, tea towels, picture postcards (wont get them anywhere else in the town), pens, pencils, mugs, books about the locality etc. Very helpful ladies!
And the no.28 bus goes to Bidford Upon Avon and Stratford Upon Avon - both beautiful places for a day out.

It was New Years Eve and the hotel laid on nothing - not a special meal, music, not even a popper. People including us had brought along celebratory evening wear and there was nothing!! Room was too hot and there was no control. Road noise, very draughty windows. Extremely creaky floorboards. No plugs beside the bed. No shaver socket in the bathroom. The drains in the shower and basin were virtually blocked so after a shower the water cascaded all over the floor.

A lovely view of the river from our room, although we couldn't walk along the river due to flooding. Evesham town centre is a bit tired looking with lots of charity shops. Had a meal at the Trumpet inn, good value for money and good choice on the menu. Our visit was really to go to Stratford on Avon which was about 15 miles away. Broadway worth a visit.

Very pretty part of the world.
Very pretty part of the world. Lots of lovely villages such as Stow, Bourton on the Water, Broadway. Bourton is very pretty but choose your time as it is incredbly busy with throngs of people. Lots of p”aces to eat but not cheap.

The old Abbey Grounds are most interesting having 2 churches and the remnents of the old Abbey.
Very old buildings just outside with the Tourest office.
The town centre seems to be rather run-down, not helped by the lack of quality hotels. The Northwick, close outside, appears as the only one.
The river walk is pleasant.

An interesting historical town with plenty to see and do during the day.
Night life is very good with a variety of pubs and restaurants.
Many of the pubs provide live music at night.
It is a large town, but small enough to walk from any part to another in 15 - 20 minutes.
The balcony over looking the fields is lovely, it's brilliant place for dogs, lots of space for them to run about, walks literally from the door. There's a small play area for little ones just in front of the lodge next door, so little ones could play in sight of mum and dad whilst they enjoy a glass of vino!
'The Bridge Inn and Ferry' pub is only a couple of miles away, on the riverside..... and is fab, great location and food, child/dog friendly, lovely staff!
The Wood Norton is a beautiful hotel with a stunning view very close to the Cotswolds. As a BBC training venue it has a great bar. The terraces with beautiful gardens are great. The house itself looks very good too. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They are also quite young and some of them being trained. What they lack in experience has to be made up by being helpful and cheery.
It was very comfortable, with a fabulous kitchen and big dining table - perfect for family times together. The property was formerly the Post Office of the village and has been renovated to a high standard. It is round the corner from the historic village pub. The property is a short drive from both the Cotswolds and Evesham for shops etc..
A lovely experience. Great position for the town and the surrounding areas.
Staff couldn’t do enough for you. Garden was a bonus. A great place for a cuppa and a read of the paper or a pint in the evening. My daughter loved the pool.
Just a really really nice place and great value.
IDEAL LOCATION FOR TOURING EVESHAM VALE AND SURROUNDING AREA. OUR LODGE 'BRAMBLEDOWN' 2 BEDROOM UNIT KEYS LEFT INSIDE DOOR .WELCOME NOTE ON FRIDGE WITH TEL NUMBERS OF OWNERS. MILK, CAKE AND BISCUITS LEFT. PLENTY OF CLEANING ITEMS.
Spacious, attractively updated room; great shower; pleasant common areas. Fairly convenient location for the center of Evesham, right by the River Evesham and on the bus line to Broadway. I didn't try the restaurant.
The hotel is situated right by the river and within easy walking distance of the town centre which was lovely. The hotel has been recently refurbished. Our room was lovely. Staff were lovely and helpful.
A really well presented apartment just a short walk from the centre of Evesham. Very handy for working in the area and secluded and restful. A lovely find and extremely comfortable.
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and within easy reach of both the Cotswolds and places of interest to visit such as Stratford upon Avon, Evesham and Worcester.
Authentic working farmhouse, fantastic location handy for both the Cotswolds and the Malverns. Warm welcome, very quiet, good breakfast. Great places to eat locally.
Well equiped kitchen, comfortable bed, lovely large garden and off street parking. The location is close to Evesham and makes a great base for exploring the Cotswolds
Amazing hotel, lovely helpful staff, Bear the cat was very sweet, and our room was great (in the Mews), food was fantastic. Will definitely be back 🐈⬛
