A very useful stopover prior to going on Le Shuttle and we were able to leave our car there whilst we were away.

We had a great room, facing a tranquil park. Very clean, great bath room. The optional breakfast was a blast, nothing missing for both cooked breakfast or continental. Location is another blast: you can see france across the Channel while a glas of wine outside and it is oposite the zig-zag trail down to the beach. Great walk! Dinner was also super yummy!
Great staff, Ben is a gem!

Elham is a small quiet village 1/2 hour by bus to Canterbury. There are 3 nice pubs and a small corner shop in the village. Nice place to come back to after a day out. The bus to Canterbury or Folkstone, if you prefer not to drive there, stops right outside the Rose and Crown. All three pubs serve evening meals.

Very nice South East Kent village in a beautiful valley...
Very nice South East Kent village in a beautiful valley surrounded by more luscious valleys with beautiful views. Perfect cycling country. Nice tea house in the village and the Kings Arms in the church square a very nice friendly pub with tasty home made food and a welcoming log fire in the bar. Elham is a really good place to stay for cycling and walking access to unspoilt countryside.
The staff was extremely polite, hospitable and helpful. The village of Elham is a peaceful rural location convenient for stop-overs before or after crossing to or from the continent. The room was comfortable and quiet. The presence of a pub - with an outside seating area - on the premises was a bonus, as was the availabilty of a substantial evening meal and the breakfast included in the price.
Located in a quiet village. 2 other pubs within 4 minute walk. Bus service to Canterbury stops right outside the Rose and Crown and is a half hour journey to Canterbury. Bus service also goes to Folkstone. There is also a small corner shop just over the road. We were able to park our car out of site on the premises. Nice helpful staff.
We were looking for a traditional pub in a small village and this is precisely what we got. The host was very welcoming. Also the 2 chefs and people in the pub were really nice and it was a lot of fun. Rooms looked good and were very spacious. Many lovely walks to be done round Elham and a nice fire to sit by upon return.
Staff super friendly, very relaxed and made us feel at home. In fact Peter who seemed to be running it very kindly allowed us to make use of our room the whole of the day of checkout as it wasn't booked for any check ins.
Pub/hotel is really special and unique and rooms were cosy
Lovely village and friendly locals
Owners were very pleasant and explained they had only recently taken over the hotel so there is still a lot to do.
The breakfast and dinner were good but the restaurant still needs to be finished with the tables more ready for
service.
Beautiful nice little hotel in the center of Elham village in Kent. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and bar. I will definitely come again when passing through this area.
