Lovely location within walking distance to the castle. John and Lisa are clearly a couple who care about the business. Well organised, a very friendly welcome and will go that extra mile to help you. Breakfast is top notch and served quickly. If we ever visit this part of the country again, we wouldn’t hesitate to book our stay here again.
Exmoor House is set on Dunster’s oldest street in Exmoor National Park. Housed in a Grade-II, 17th-century building, this charming property offers a lounge and 6 en suite rooms.

Fabulous place to stay. Staff wonderful as was the breakfasts. Just one little niggle, the curtains in our room were not lined, so by 5.30 a.m. the room is lit up by the morning sun, and we are wide awake. Would recommend that the hotel gets "black out " lining curtains that fit behind the main curtains. Other than that all excellent.

Beautiful farmhouse B&B set in beautiful gardens for guests to enjoy, with summerhouse, outdoor seating and honesty bar. Room was spacious and very comfortable, with all the amenities you could need, and more. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and accommodating, and choice and quality of breakfast was first class! Would have loved to stay longer!

I could quite happily have spent 2 days just in Dunster then used it as a base for the wider area - the beaches and even Cheddar gorge. We ate dinner at the Luttrell Arms which was nice but Reeves looked good too. We had coffee and cake at Tessa's Tea rooms and bought stuff in the independent shops. The only thing I'd have changed was the weather as we had a few downpours but that's Britain for you!!

Iys a very old village with more grade 2 listed buildings than anywhere else in England. The Castle and grounds are always good to visit. We had a good choice of walks in the surrounding countryside. There are a few good places to eat including a very good Aisian restaurant. It's very easy to get around the village.

Dunster is on the edge of Exmoor National Park, which imho is the most underrated national park in the UK. The views are magnificent, with small cozy towns, beautiful nature, good roads for walking, cycling and mountain biking. Dunster itself is a small cozy village with a proper Castle, although through shortness of time we didn't visit it.

The small town has a lot to offer - lovely walks around the castle, good restaurants to choose from, interesting shops and a superb art gallery with a labrynth of beautiful works of art. A must has to be the West Somerset railway which you can catch the steam train from Dunster station - Dunster Beach is close by where can walk to Blue Anchor along the stunning coastal path.
Hathaway Restaurant is quirky but great food.
Yarn Market Hotel offers a good menu in homely surroundings.

We had a lovely stay at the house.
Pete and Karen were the perfect hosts. Very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Good local knowledge and recommendations.
Very pretty area and good location for all amenities.
Fabulous location in the heart of Dunster. Olivia our host couldn’t have been more welcoming and caring . A great enclosed pretty garden which both we and our 2 small dogs enjoyed . Property was spotlessly clean . Comfortable bed and good quality bedding. A very thoughtful fruit bowl , milk, coffee and tea bags to get you started . Complimentary tea and cake were much appreciated downstairs in the Castle Coffee House . Home made cakes every day by our host Olivia
Perfect location in the centre of this historic village. Lovely comfortable room with its own entrance which was extremely useful as we had our dog with us.
Breakfast choice excellent. Quality produce served which was tasty and plentiful.
Parking on site was a bonus as village parking is limited. Owners Lisa and John were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble.
Fourth time staying here, each time in a different room. Delighted with all of them. Love all the thoughtful little extras, such as bath bubbles and sun cream for my face. Fresh milk in the fridge outside our door, along with spare supplies of drinks and snacks. Lovely location for exploring the village, with handy on-street parking right outside the door from 6pm to 9am.
Cosy, comfy, friendly - you could tell as soon as you walked up the path, through the lovely flowery garden, that it was going to be a great place to stay. And it was all so welcoming, with a great breakfast and lovely touches like a range of locally produced teas and 'proper' biscuits in the room - and all in such a historic location, so close to Dunster castle
Lovely warm welcome and atmosphere throughout the hotel. Well equipped comfortable room, Delicious breakfast. Friendly helpful owners who took an interest in their visitors. They were unable to serve evening meals but made sure we knew well in advance so were able to book one of their recommendations which proved to be a real gem.
Staff were all very friendly and hardworking. Food generally was a high standard and lots of it. Breakfast was ok but due to being the only couple in the hotel we did not receive a full cooked breakfast as expected - limited to tinned tomatoes, although fresh tomatoes were on the menu, and no effort made to supply them.
From the minute we got there (late as usual), we were made to feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Immaculately clean and breakfast was to die for. I've stayed in many hotels and locations and this was by far the best. I will definitely be going back. Thank you to our hosts and see you again.
It was all perfect! Tessa was a fabulous host, and made us feel welcome right away. The location and property were also fantastic, and felt like stepping into a comforting novel. If we're ever back towards Dunster I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Please give this a chance if you're able!
Lovely, spacious cottage. Some beautiful features and quite quirky. Very comfortable beds. Extremely well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. Pretty garden with stream running through it. Nice under floor heating in the bathroom. Walking distance to Dunster Castle.
Dunster Mill was the best b and b we have ever stayed in .pete and Karen were the perfect hosts and our room was spotless ,you just couldn’t fault it at all .Finally the breakfast was to die for .Five stars all round and wouldn’t hesitate to go back there in the future.
The location is perfect for a visit to Historic Dunster and the amazing walks in the area. The rooms were large comfortable and very clean. Lots of little extras like fresh milk. The breakfasts were wonderful freshly cooked to order. The hosts were very welcoming.
Luxurious little apartment on Dunster High Street. Comfy bed, with lovely linen and towels. Well equipped little kitchenette - fridge, microwave and hob. Efficient walk in shower
Lovely owner, who makes fabulous cake! Lovely Deli opposite. Would stay again.
Dunster is an amazing little village with wonderful walks and a spectacular garden and castle! Little Dragons is in a wonderful location within a couple of minutes walk of everything.
One of the best hotels we have visited, a very well presented, feel good place, quirky in places and very homely, breakfast, bar and evening meals all top class. Great stay...
