The Railway Hotel is a small hotel with a big heart. The decor and attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I stayed for the weekend in the smallest bedroom in the hotel but it is very comfortable and well appointed. We had an evening meal with friends and we all thought the food and service were excellent. The breakfast was also excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel where the staff were friendly, efficient and professional, special mention to Mia and Marianne.

The reviews for this pub were very good, and on arrival, after some initial confusion, on the part of a trainee member of staff, we found that the staff, facilities and particularly the food were all very good, and often excellent. The Nepalese menu seemed very popular with guests, and whilst there were plenty of more traditional British dishes on the menu, few if any were chosen, and certainly not by us. The help given by staff when choosing what dishes to have was first class, and everything we ate was excellent. The traditional English full breakfast was also very good, and everything was high quality.

Very beautiful, peaceful, sunny garden. Modern, clean room. Spacious bathroom. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Very helpful, friendly hosts. Little details like oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, cider, water, coffee, tea, sugar, soft drinks, biscuits all in the room on arrival plus charcoal provided for the bbq. Perfect location to explore the north west new forest. Had an idylic time.

The Tent was spacious and with fresh bedding. The main bed was comfortable and warm to sleep on. The fairy lights are a great idea and keeps everything well lit near the tents and walking around.
The fire pit is great and you can cook away till your heart is content. Everyone gets one to use.
The shower is amazing which is great but if people are in there you can be waiting some time as there is only one.
Nice field that children can run around on.
They do provide chairs if you ask for them. The host was lovely and inviting.

Friendly owners, amazing setting, beautiful cabin and amazing hot tub. Loved the privacy and the pool was incredible too. Simply gorgeous and loved every minute of it. Useful to have the toaster as well as a kettle, a couple of plates and butter knives would be a useful addition.

The location is peaceful, deep in the Dorset countryside. The hosts are wonderful, this is our second stay and they made us feel like friends.The room we had on both occasions was spacious, clean with immaculate bathroom facilities.
