The only guests in the entire farmhouse made it feel like an AirBnB just for us ! It is pretty remote, but nice and comfortable. Breakfast was simplistic continental, but plentiful with many options. Becky made us feel very welcome and would be happy to stay again

OA Surf Club, hotel in Crackington Haven

Boasting sea views, OA Surf Club offers accommodation with a private beach area, a garden and a terrace, around 26 km from Tintagel Castle.

Pat who works mainly breakfast time is such a warm person and made us feel so welcome. She clearly works extremely hard, and went above and beyond to help us during our stay. She’s really the main reason for the positive review. Thank you so much Pat! Location is lovely. We stayed in a couple of rooms which were fine, shared bathrooms were clean enough and was nice to have a private bathroom and sea view

It was warm and cosy with stunning views in a quiet location. We did a long walk (but well worth it along the coastal path and down into the valley) to Crackington Haven where we had a delicious meal at the Coombe Barton Inn. You need a car and sturdy walking boots. We will definately return - this is a little gem.

Crackington Haven is lovely ; it is a small village on the Cornish coast, but within easy driving distance of other places, e.g. Bude and Daymer Bay. We ate at the pub in the village/next to the sea (Coombe Barton Inn I think it's called) and the food was very nice. A popular past-time seemed to be sitting on the sea wall with a drink and watching the sun go down- beautiful sunsets. The roads into/out of CH are VERY steep and quite narrow; useful to be aware of for drivers (parking is not cheap) and walkers. There will be a steep walk down into the village/seaside/bay and it will probably feel like an even steeper walk back up again !

This is one of the many beautiful coves around Cornwall.

This is one of the many beautiful coves around Cornwall. There is an excellent pub serving great food and with a good selection of drinks to suit any taste. There is also a cafe and shop where you can get the essentials for a day on the beach. The views are beautiful and so typical of Cornish coves. Surfing is good and there are the usual beach surf life saving guards to hand. There are good facilities to hand and a warm welcome guaranteed.
