Great location to access Newark town centre. Free car park facilities. Secure access. Quiet considering it was above the village pub and despite being on a main road, the noise was barely noticeable. Having great flooring also meant you didn’t hear anything in the public bar below. Good phone/wifi signal. Lots of light and a full length mirror was a bonus. Lovely spacious bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. Heater was great when it got chilly. Having a fan also in the room was a bonus. Loved that we had access to an iron and ironing board as well. Fridge was decent size as we brought our own food.

Big car park and close to the town centre. It was the kind of hotel that looked like alot of people used to stay there and it has remained the same since then. The rooms were large. The beds really uncomfortable. The handle fell off the toilet when we went to flush and overall our stay was pretty average. The town itself is beautiful and worth a visit.
