Room excellent, I only stayed for one night and played golf so ideal. Food good and staff nice.
Might be a bit out the way without a car and expect lots of golfers in the bar.

This hotel was booked at quite short notice for a night away with my girlfriend. It's right in the middle of town, so it's just a short walk away from pubs, cafes, antique shops, the cheese shop and all the delights of Stow. The room itself was very luxurious with beautiful decor and furnishings, the added bonus being a coffee machine and a couple of cookies sat on the dresser on our arrival. Wonderful views, a really comfy bed, and lots of space. Big bathroom, complete with a deep bath. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, whereas the bar man gave as good as he got in terms of banter on the evening.

Decors a little dated but the property is very pleasant.
Had a laugh with the locals in the bar.
Food we ordered was very good and reasonably priced.
Noted that the didn't do breakfast but this doesn't bother me. I'm sure there are places in town that serve breakfast if wanted.
