Staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful. Managed a large group very efficiently. Thank you.
The manor was renovated in 2023 and has two golf courses, a fitness club, a spa, superb meeting facilities, and two on-site restaurants.

The hotel was close to the motorway (but not close enough tot hear it), easy to find and has plenty of parking. The main entrance in the old manor house is stunning. All the staff I spoke to were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It's smart but very relaxed at the same time. I had a very comfortable, well equipped room in the modern building with views across the golf course. The leisure facilities were excellent, and the 12 o'clock checkout meant I had time for another swim before leaving. I felt perfectly comfortable eating on my own in the hotel bar, which isn't always the case. I would stay here again.

Pleasant accommodation above a lovely pizza restaurant.
Absolutely fine for our flying visit. Excellent value for money. Between the lower river area & the upper main town. So central enough. There was the offer of a continental breakfast within the price, which we could not take advantage of on this occasion.
Would stay again.

Caerleon and Caerwent these are amazing for history lovers.
The gardens and grottoes at Dewstow were a revelation we had a marvellous time there.

The castle and architecture, particularly at that end of town, is nice and the setting lovely. Tintern Abbey is a 6 mile bus ride away and well worth seeing. Unfortunately, you can't walk along the River Wye to it; the designated walk takes you well away from the river on both banks, though this is somewhat due to sheer cliffs! Not much else to see and do in the immediate area and no Sunday buses, so a better midweek break or day trip than a weekend break for non-drivers like myself.
I go for the Chepstow Wassail and Mari Lwyd event on a Saturday in January and tend to stop off elsewhere on the route home on the Sunday because there's no way to get anywhere locally.

Evening meal we had in the bar area, which we appreciated had a limited menu, three of us ordered chicken burger, which too over 30 minutes to arrive, the chicken was tough and over cooked. Taxi was extortionate costing £29.00 to go less than 3 miles - recommended by the hotel! Service is poor when the hotel is full - they do not cope well.

We didn’t go into Chepstow as we were there for the races on 24 th August. It was a perfect stay. The apartment was perfect in every way. Only needed food but the farm shop had all needs.
There wasn’t a pub but take own or buy in farm shop.
Lovely view towards the river.

Very pretty small town with lots of pubs, cafes and eating places to choose from. The beautiful castle set on the river is obviously a big attraction and Chepstow is a great base to visit many other places. Tintern Abbey is just up the road and Raglan Castle is a must see.

Chepstow is a delightful town with many interesting attractions not the best is undoubtedly Chepstow Castle. It has been fantastically well preserved and the wonder of Tintern Abby is a must for anyone staying in or near Chepstow.
Several different types of restaurants including a gem of an Italian one at the bottom of the town just below Chepstow bridge
I booked it super last minute (mins before midnight) bc I was meant to go to a nearby town but due to lack of taxis avail. I was stranded in the town of Chepstow by 11.30 pm.
Although there was no staff on site they were avail over the phone and were able to accommodated me!! Blessed them!
They helped me with instructions and everything over the phone. The staff on the phone and on site, the following morning, were super nice and helpful.
The place is very well located as they right in front of the Chepstow castle.
I visited Chepstow alone and felt comfortable and safe staying at this B&B.
The B&B is cute with nice homely touches and the room was warm and nice.
I stupidly locked myself out of my room on Friday night and one of the staff came to help me straight away which was very kind.
The location is really good. I was exploring the Forest of Dean and it was easy to get to the places I wanted to go.
I felt relaxed staying here.
There's a big garden that would be great in the summer.
My quirky old-fashioned/quaint bedroom (e.g. with uneven creaky old floorboards) was very clean and relatively spacious, had good wifi, a tv, and had a really nice selection of drinks, biscuits, water etc. There was excellent live music (6-9 p.m.) and 'street food' available in the pub garden - which was a lovely surprise bonus to my one-night stay. The location of the pub (by the castle and within short walking distance of the town centre) was also excellent.
Beautiful place to stay. Jamie was a friendly, attentive host, offering tips on the local area and making sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was great and the whole place was well thought out and well looked after. Loved the little touches like the fresh tulips. It really felt like a private getaway.
This is a reliable stay. the rooms re basic, but modern and comfortable enough. The dining is good (although my breakfast omelette was not good at all) and the staff by and large helpful and accomodation. parking is plentiful and easy and the location a 10 minute stroll from Chepstow town centre.
Loved the location and how private and away from everything it was, even with only being a short drive from Chepstow. Staff were really friendly and checked on us when we weren't sure about check in! The house itself was beautifully presented and clean, I'll definitely choose to stay here again!
Location is great. In the town centre and a few minutes walk to everything. Easy booking and nice staff. Parking behind the building is good and no problems to find a space. The room is a bit small but not bad; adequate for what I needed.
location was fab, being welcomed by Emma , ease of accommodation to access town centre, good parking, lovely garden with super views , comfy sofa to watch TV from ,spotless accommodation
Location is absolutely superb! Great value for your money and the staff were excellent. Very welcoming and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a short break in Chepstow.
No breakfast. Bed very comfortable and kitchen good if needed. Tea/coffee facilities in room welcome! Very clean. Convenient for the Drill Hall and Town Centre.
Very comfortable and roomy. The common area is a bonus with a full kitchen for guests use and a front parlor area too. Lots of character and a great location.
