Very nice old pub in a lovely and central location. Staff welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Beer good, enjoyable and not expensive food. Our room was off the car park/ courtyard so very convenient for luggage, and with no stairs.

The staff were all friendly and very professional, the room was albeit up two flights of stairs nevertheless roomy and had excellent views over the rear gardens, the bathroom was a good size and well equipped. The bed was large and very comfortable. We had a full english breakfast and this was very good as were the various cereals and pastries which were also on offer. All in all we had an excellent stay and would gladly stay there again.

Liked the location, ambience of the property, eagerness of staff to help, personalities of the staff always happy, food was perfect. Room was luxurious, spotless with a coffee machine and bottled mineral water.

Only real criticism I could make would be that the property decor was looking tired and neglected in a few key areas but overall this didn’t detract too much from the overall experience.

Beautiful pub with friendly staff and gorgeous food, there was a lovely atmosphere in the horse and groom, it was modern clean and nicely decorated lovely extra touches to make your stay comfortable, even the downstairs toilet has extra things in for the ladies. Food was top notch too we took our two cookapoo and they has put two beds and bowls in the room. 🐶🥰 would love to come abs start again thank you to Dave and good team.
Cozy hotel and pub. Exactly what we needed after a cold day walking around the Cotswolds. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and warm. We booked a dinner at the restaurant and it was amazing - highly recommend their pie of the day! The room was exceptionally comfortable and breakfast the next day was great as well. I can't recommend this inn highly enough. We are so happy we chose to stay here!
This was such a wonderful stay. The rooms were stunning and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed for a wedding nearby and the staff went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after, had transport to the wedding and were well fed! We will definitely be back! Couldn’t recommend this hotel or David and his team more.

what a find, a friendly welcome with superb rooms with touches you won’t find in a 5 star hotel. The meal was good value and superbly cooked and only bettered by the breakfast that had local ingredients cooked to perfection. highly recommended and am looking forward to our next stay already.
Comfortable quiet cosy room in a characterful place and nice bath rather than the usual shower in most hotels. A lot of thought had gone into providing everything required. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Good location for Malmesbury town centre.
Welcome was lovely - made to feel at home straight away. Loved the room right at the top of the building. Nothing was too much trouble. Kes and partner waited for us to get in in the evening despite the hotel/pub being closed for the evening.
it was like a boutique hotel, they had thought of everything in the room, loads of room , spotlessly clean and all the facilities you could wish for.
Staff really accommodating even made me a charcuterie board as the kitchen was closing.

Location of hotel was about 17 minutes from Westonbirt which was idea as we had a concert booked. Pub food was really good. Room was excellent, clean, spacious and lots of extra goodies. Breakfast was also good.
