Breakfast was served in the upstairs restaurant (with lovely views), and was of good quality & quantity. The staff attended to our needs, but it was a relaxed atmosphere. The room was in the courtyard and was comfortable and clean. We were fortunate to find the last parking spot on the Saturday afternoon, as there was an event on. However, for later in the day, there was plenty of parking available.
Nestled amid 19 acres of gardens and woodland, this 19th century country house provides the ideal base from which to explore the rolling hills and hidden valleys of the Cotswolds.

Great staff - we visited just before they had the builders move in for redecoration and redevelopment. Lovely location and really pleasant part of the world.
Situated 21 km from Coughton Court, Kingfisher Lodge Long Acre Holiday Park offers a garden, barbecue facilities and accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi.
Another fantastic stay here at Charlton. Absolutely wonderful shepherd's hut. Hot tub and sauna are wonderful as is the seating area outside. The views are incredible and Tracey and Pete are most welcoming. The bed is extremely comfortable and a very well equipped kitchen area, lovely touches with the snack basket and tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. The eggs, milk, juice and water are greatly received. Love using the products for guest use in the bathroom and plenty of towels and robes to use during our stay.
Will be back again, already have a couple of dates booked! Our dog enjoys the garden area and dog biscuits too. Very secure garden, our WSS can get to most places he shouldn't, but the fences at Charlton are very secure. Absolutely recommend a stay here.
