Wow, this property is fantastic! You have a safe space to put your car. The annex is private so you can just arrive and sort yourself out with getting in. The room itself is absolutely beautiful. It looks amazing. It has everything you need and yet nowhere looks or feels cluttered. It was such a relaxing place to stay. We spent the day in York which is 20minutes up the road and then came back and watched Netflix (which was included). There are some really thoughtful touches, such as the arrival package and guide to the room. Then in the morning you open your front door to see the tree tops, it is a very relaxing place to stay. We absolutely loved it! I fully recommend staying here and I wish we didn’t have to leave.

This beautiful hotel is so well located for the station and a paid car park. It is the old railway offices built in 1906 and converted sympathetically into a very plush and friendly hotel. I live nearby, but as a treat, a friend and I stayed here to see a show in town and to have lunch. The staff are amazing, all of them are so professional but still fun and friendly, which is not what I've experienced in other 5 star hotels. The executive room was well laid out and appointed with everything we could need. I used the pool twice in our stay, a lovely find in a city hotel. I will be planning another stay here to treat myself in the future
