The location is perfect for walking around Dorchester with everything you need to hand. The staff were all very friendly and extremely hard working. The bar and restaurant were just what we needed after a difficult journey.

We did not get a chance to see the village but it was easy access to both Weymouth and Dorchester which are two really lovely places. We stayed in Broadmayne overnight as halfway to our holiday in Cornwall. It turned out to be excellent choice exactly half way.

Louisa, our host was very welcoming, providing us with a lot of anecdotal recommendations about where to go and what to see. Oh, and a very nice breakfast!
The B & B at Broadmayne is well sited for site seeing in the local area. Village pub, the Black Dog, has a good restaurant, and the New Inn just outside the village is even better.
All the food was well served with happy staff. Very good chef and all the meals were very good and slight request met with a smile and "yes"! Our room was very good and the shower decoration deserved a photo! A well managed hotel, good staff and for the children a large well planned outdoor space.
Will hope to stay again soon.
Definitely a very friendly B&B/pub. A generous breakfast included. Rooms may be on a dated side, but clean. Shower very spacious and so was the bed.
Didn't eat or have a drink at the pub as only stayed one night (bank holiday) while exploring Dorset.
Everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size, it was clean and comfortable and the food was really good. Great base if you want to explore the Dorset coast.
We stayed in a really spacious and comfortable family room. The beds were good, the best we slept in during our England holiday. Great location for exploring Dorset. Really good food in the pub.
