We came for a concert but had a look around.
Shops seem a little tired as were the pubs we visited.
Lovely harbour but hard to find fresh fish to buy.
Massive beach and endless amusements. Very much the seaside resort with a wonderful old town

This is a poor relation to Scarborough but it does have some charm in the form of the small harbour and some vibrancy with the shows on at the Plaza. It is not a rowdy place and tends to get ready for closing by ten so don't expect a late night fish n chip supper. There are a decent number of places to eat but not a great number of places to park so leave the car at the hotel if you can - walking distance to beaches etc is not arduous.
Whitby is nearby and worth a visit but go early morning to avoid the crowds, especially in the summer season. Beaches at Brid are mostly
clean and the wind from the sea is less cutting than that at Skegness but you might still want a wind breaker!!

Loads of things to do for families.
Boat trips on the pirate ship or Yorkshire belle
Visits to the model village or spend the day at sewerby house and gardens or just visit the funfair and amusement arcades
The harbour is also a lovely place to just sit grab a coffee and watch the boats or the world go by.
A day on the beach and dip in the sea weather permitting.
Everything is accessible with the land train running from one end to the other
We have stayed in different place in bridlington. Put Doriam Guest House brilliant from arriving no problem with parking Doriam & Ian tick all the boxes from arriving they covered every detail most of all making sure your stay is enjoyed comfortable relaxing and you want to go back. Friendly warm welcome clean our room was great so relaxing and every detail was covered. Breakfast brilliant so organised I'm more than empressed can't wait to go back.
The Expanse Hotel is perfectly situated, you just have to cross the road and you're on the beach. My room not only had a sea view but also a balcony and because it was sheltered, it wasn't too chilly to sit out there with a cup of tea, even in February. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist (Sue I think), who was great. A booking mix-up (entirely my fault) was quickly and easily resolved. Breakfasts were great.
This was on the top of the list of best stays ever. Staff was very hospitable and went above and beyond for other guest's and my room spotless and nice bright and comfortable and with usb ports . It's Close to the beach good views it's a part of Bridlington which is a flat area not many hills ideal for people with mobility problems . Fantastic experience thank you seacourt. From Jason.
We went to a show at Bridlington Spa, and the hotel was across the road, soooo convenient! The rooms were very clean and well stocked with refreshments. Breakfast was made to order and nothing was too much trouble.
Very easy to get to from the railway station, only a few minutes walk, and the owner was very welcoming, giving us suggestions of places to eat that evening.
Lovely breakfast and a good choice room clean jugs of milk available in an upstairs fridge staff friendly lovely cream tea on arrival location good for sewerby hall and gardens that was great value for money not to far away to visit Selby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington Which is walking distance from the hotel
Sewerby Hall and Gardens shown on the first 2 photos
The room was very well presented, clean, comfortable and all you would need for an over night stay. The little touches around the room, home made biscuits, make up removal towel, 2 comfy chairs (alot of hotels iv stayed only have 1 chair parked at a desk). We went to an even at the Bridlington Spa and it was in easy walking distance. Hosts very nice and polite.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful with questions about Bridlington.
