Loved the friendly staff and the large, tastefully furnished room. It was so nice being in a brand new hotel- everything was clean and had that fresh feeling about it. The walk into town took about 15 minutes. The area was quite residential. Parking was free, we had to register at reception for this. We were happy with the huge full English breakfast and choice of cold breakfast too. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would return.

nice gesture from hosts leaving fresh eggs, fruit and biscuits, didnt cook much there though as everything was dirty and greasy , i had to wash the frying pan before i could use it! not good at all, this should all be checked before your guests move in, the whole place was dirty and it smelt very musky, i get the fact that its an old place but no need for it to smell like that, i bought some ground coffee and left a few pots lying around , it made it smell a bit better, i would not recommend anyone to stay here , it needs a thorough deep clean first if they do, i certainly dont think its worth the money they charge!
