A favoured holiday spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.
On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!
More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognisable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modelled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.
A popular stag and hen do destination, Blackpool offers accommodation ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.

Blackpool has everything you need for an enjoyable break. Lovely beach and the lights are beautiful. Good shops and pubs. Lots of places to visit via public transport. Fleetwood market, St Anne's, Preston and Cleveleys. All nice for a trip out.Just be careful of where you book to stay. Some are better that others.

Tired in places but a good base for nearby places.
Clevellys in particular was clean, relaxing and full of good value eating options and shops.
Tram service was especially beneficial with hop on/hop off a recommendation after purchase of day tickets.
I remember when we used to walk the length of Blackpool but now we are totally reliant on municipal transportation.
Illuminations were still a great draw especially when the TOWER was in full display.

My husband and l had a great weekend , wheather was good , our hotel situated near the tower so was not far from all amenties, the Saturday night was very busy, most of drinking bars were full, had to queue if you wanted to get into your favorite, plus some of the bars were charging over the top prices, but overall a good experience0

The owners were welcoming, hospitable and friendly. The hotel had a really pleasant vibe and was very well presented comparable to the price. Our room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel and the breakfast was lovely. Usually i would have offered recommendations but for the price it was everything i had expected and more. Parking was a bit of a joint effort due to limited space but fortunately the location is a 5 minute walk to the trams on the seafront from which you can access all of Blackpool.
Very friendly staff treated you like family coming to stay.
Breakfast was the best I've tasted.
The bar was great .
Rooms very cosy and beds were so comfortable.
There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere.
Throughout.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and give it 10 out of 10 for cleanliness.
And room and staff plus food.
If you go to the clifton court hotel .
You won't be disappointed.
There you'll go to stay in blackpool over and over .
The Hotel was as we expected. No disrespect intended to Blackpool but as in most of the area it is in need of a little TLC. Having said that the price we paid was very fair, the staff very helpful and there was plenty of free parking on the road outside. The location is perfect, with a 5 minute walk to the seafront and a 15 minute walk to the Town Center.
Fantastically run hotel by a great partnership. Extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. They helped me with parking my motorcycle and collecting my belongings later in the day. Very clean room and appropriate for a solo traveller. Thank you very much and will stay here on my next visit to Blackpool.
The hotel was in an ideal location on the Blackpool seafront. Close to all the attractions Blackpool has to offer. The room was tiny, but comfortable. Breakfast was nice, as was the service from the staff.
