Really comfortable room in a quiet location, with street parking available just outside which was perfectly safe. Loved the modern decor and fab to have a smart tv to watch after a long day exploring. Convenient to travel around the Wirral or to Liverpool via bus or train. Easy check in and great communication from the hosts, thank you!

Great location for us as our family lived only 1 mile down the road. Lovely 3 bedroom with separate lounge and kitchen.

Review provided to me by my mother -> I booked the trip for her.
A beautiful room with a magnificent view of the river. Breakfast was fantastic, good value for money (for a pensioner travelling from New Zealand).
The staff were absolutely amazing, and made every possible effort to make our stay amazing.
My daughter booked the hotel for us, and also ordered champagne and a platter for when we arrived, and it was incredible.
Thank you so much for making what will probably be my last international trip, at age 84, one of the best experiences of my life, and looking after myself and my friend of 65 years, who I hadn't seen for 20 years, feel so comfortable and special.
Some areas are a little run down. I loved the town hall where we attended a wedding. The gardens in Hamilton square were lovely as were the properties. Excellent transport links to the Wirral and Liverpool.

Where we stayed it was within easy reach of a lovely walk a long the front by the Mersey going all the way to New Brighton. It's about 2.5 miles but on a summer's evening well worth doing as there is plenty of entertainment and restaurants in New Brighton. It provides a great base to explore Liverpool and Chester.

A quiet area and a bit neglected but some beautiful architecture and some good places to visit. We enjoyed an open mic night at THE SWINGING ARM, a meal at the lovely vegan eatery JORO, and the Woodside Village stalls at the weekend. We also visited Birkenhead Park which inspired Central Park New York but found it rather shabby.

The market used to be quite good but not now, not many stalls open which is understandable with the way things are with the virus. Quite a few shops closed now in the town centre. Apartment was couple of miles away and nothing around it.

I was here for a funeral so not sight seeing although I went to West Kirby beach and thurstaston beach & Wirral country park both great places cos tho urban the Wirral has some lovely spots by the coast.
Breakfast was top class. Plenty of choice and good size portions. The quality of the food is excellent. The hotel location is very convenient. Unfortunately the ferry terminal, about a minute away, was not open when we there but due to open in Sept 22. However road and rail links to Liverpool, Chester etc., are close by so getting around is very easy. This is a very friendly hotel with owners who go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant experience.
What a excellent little find this was, We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and most of all warm it was when we walked in. The accommodation was spotless and April was very helpful and easy to get hold of. The beds were comfortable (always a bonus :) ) We usually come to the Wirral once a year and have stayed in hotels, but this will be our go to place in future !
Probably the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Super clean and modern, excellent breakfast with everything you could ask for. Wonderful hosts couple Simon and Susan who wanted nothing but to make your stay a memorable one.
Supermodern and extremely clean.
Easy to reach by bus from Liverpool downtown.
Quite area.
.
Lovely clean home, with WiFi, usual TV channels, great kitchen, fab bathroom with super bath and electric shower, easy access to the tunnel to Liverpool, near our family and Chester. The king size beds were really comfy! We will book again 🤓
The house was lovely, extremely clean and cozy with all the amenities. The neighbourhood is a bit dull but it's quick and easy to get to central Liverpool.
