We stayed at Beechfield House which is a fabulous venue for lots of reasons. Good food, very comfortably finished, accepting of dogs and accessible. Felt free and easy to move around the house and grounds whilst staying. It was a nice touch to have a choice of daily newspaper because although the WiFi was fab, sometimes you just want to shut off from the outside world ... Will be returning.

I booked this special double birthday treat for my daughter and son-in-law and their feedback was amazing. They thought the grounds, manor and decor was beautiful and both felt so at ease. In their words the food, wine, staff and atmosphere could not be faulted, Thank you so much for upgrading their room which was stunning it made their day, and a lovely gesture of happy birthday cards on the restaurant table and at breakfast.I would have no reservations in recommending the Manor, it was perfect and a special place.

Nice hotel and well presented with a lot of character,
Beds could off been a little better as we felt the springs in the middle or was it 2 mattresses out side to side which was a little uncomfortable. Also needs a little better lighting in the room but very warm . Had to have windows open in winter LOL ..

Nice location.
Nice location. All the flower beds and pots were very neglected and full of weeds. The pool is nice but again the area around the pool is very neglected . Windows in room were vert dirty and could not be opened properly. No air con in room. Not good enough for the price.

Lovely County side and close to Bath
The hotel is clearly in the midst of an upgrade, with lots of new decor and renovations. The staff is very friendly and helpful and my dinner and breakfast were quite acceptable and fairly priced. I found the room to be somewhat small but generally quite comfortable and the desk area was convenient with lots of light and outlets for my many electrical accessories.
This is a gorgeous property with exquisite landscaping. The property itself is a destination. The pool was divine.
The staff was very attentive. I felt like I was being taken care of.
It is in the countryside surrounded by fields, but it's a 30-second car drive to Melksham, which has all the stores, restaurants and services you would need.
It was our first trip with 2 under 2 so we were a bit nervous but the hotel staff made sure everything was perfect. The room was very spacious, the shower hot, the bed very large and comfy. The swimming pool was warm enough to sweem in comfortably and the breakfast had a large selection of products from full English to yogurts etc.
The pool is a huge plus.
We have stayed here twice now and we will definitely return. On a sunny day it feels like you’re away in France.
Child friendly but not overly so that it feels like a child hotel. Good balance/quiet and chilled.
Great rooms and facilities in room
Lovely exterior and interior
Beautiful hotel, lovely spacious rooms and lovely decor. The swimming pool was fantastic and the hotel is spotless throughout. Staff brilliant and went out of their way to ensure we had a good trip. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away with mates.
Beautiful hotel, set in stunning grounds, the facilities made it value for money beautiful pool. Very friendly staff, couldn’t do enough to accommodate our needs. Food outstanding. Would definitely go back and hopefully one day soon.
Building and location beautiful. Pool area also beautiful and a pleasure to dip in when other guests children had gone. Staff were friendly and polite. Room was clean. Parking is close to the hotel. It's picturesque.
We had a nice view to the courtyard and can see the pool. We love it. It was nice and quite during the night apart from noises from other guests coming back to the hotel. It was comfortable stay.
