It was quite an independent hotel - we didn’t see any members of staff but knew how to contact someone if we had a problem. We liked the fridge in the room.

Bamburgh is a lovely small town. Quite quaint and picturesque.
It is within easy reach of a host of things to do and see.
We went to Lindisfarne and its unique castle which we really enjoyed.
The Puffin Boat trip from Seahouses was amazing. We'll worth the expense.
On our walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle we watched a large pod of dolphins close to the shore. Beautiful and very evocative.
Alnmouth has a really lovely beach and lots of interesting shops and eateries. We loved Northumberland.

Bamburgh is charming.
Bamburgh is charming. The castle dominates and the setting is dramatic. There is a butcher near the hotel who sells pies etc and a restaurant which specialises in seafood albeit at a price. Parking is easy and it's nice to be able to walk to such a pleasant beach even when it's windy and unseasonally cool.

Dominated by the castle, Bamburgh is a lovely piece of Northern English history. The church is hugely historic and well worth a visit, as well as the Grace Darling museum. Good restaurants and pubs and a beach with a view to die for round off the offer - amazing to think all that is packed into a small town.

Bamburgh seems a lovely place but we were surprised that there didn't seem to be a general shop or an obvious one. The range of eating places is not wide and and the ones offered seemed quite expensive. However we decided to eat in the hotel and that turned out to be a good decision.

Great for dogs, lot of dogs staying there and all well behaved and under control.
Nice pet friendly pubs and restaurants.
No late opening shops and very few buses, last bus to and from bamburgh was 19:30 ish, not an easy walk to anywhere else after dark as no street lamps on coast roads.

The Victoria Hotel was brilliant, staff Fantastic, breakfast was included and it was great each morning. We ate at the hotel for two evenings and the food was divine. One of the nights we ate at the potted lobster and that was also 10/10 for a fish restaurant we couldn't ask for more. Would definitely recommend it 👌 👍
An excellent establishment in a lovely quiet village, run by friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was outstanding (cooked options plus a self-service buffet) as was the dinner menu. I liked that the room had tea/coffee making facilities and USB charging sockets. On site parking is limited, but parking on the street was no problem. The hotel is only a few mins walk from Bamburgh Castle.
A wonderful Hotel with a lovely old fashioned feel but a very nicely renovated. Friendly, pleasant staff and all creature comforts. The staff rose to the occasion magnificently when a power cut left the whole of Bamburgh without power on Easter Saturday evening. everything else went according to plan and I had a great stay at the Victoria Hotel - would happily return
Pretty easy to find, great room, fantastic welcome, in easy reach of everywhere we wanted to go. We had a great room but they have pods and other accommodation to suit most people. They also have plenty of outside space, a jacuzzi and a steam room. Places to eat and drink are only a five minute drive into Bamburgh or twenty if you want to go into Seahouses.
This is an exceptional hotel. They've got everything right. Staff are fantastic. Particularly in the bar and dining room. The hotel is busy and buzzing and they work as a team who are enjoying their work. Decor and atmosphere great.Super menu and food . Rooms are well appointed a d then there's the view!! Sunrise over Bamburgh Castle, awesome.
Bamburgh under canvas was a delightful and a well located escape from the businesses of daily life. The views were spectacular and the Yurt was well thought thru with some little luxuries to enhance the holiday. Loved that we had a hot shower with complementary soap. We would definitely recommend Bamburgh under the canvas!
The hotel was located just up
the road from Bamburgh Castle
Friendly staff and was easy check-in
Lovely breakfast set us up for the day
Lucky to be able to park by wall opposite that had no parking restrictions so left car there after check-out and walked to see castle - saved us £5 for parking
Location, spaciousness, facilities… complete things like washing machine, dishwasher, oven, stove , Henry ( love Henry’s in Uk) every cottage we stayed in and hotels seem to have Henry’s, cute face… the product made a hit I guess and great sales….
Perfect location, car park beside hotel and room was spotless. Nice choice for breakfast but only vegetarian sausages on offer so no good for vegans. I did recommend Richmond meat free sausages which are suitable for both.
A lovely cottage quite near the wonderful Bamburgh castle and coast! Peaceful location. It had everything we needed and was clean and stylish. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!
Well appointed, comfortable, very well equipped, within easy walking distance to everywhere in Bamburgh. Lovely place to stay for longer than the 2 nights we spent. Plenty of room for couple and grandchild.
A well equipped, new, light and airy house. Outside decking and seating gave us a good view of the old quarry cliff face and the nesting birds. view of Bamburgh castle.
The location is fabulous with views to the sea and Bamburgh Castle.
Choice of local pubs and restaurants, but need to book restaurants as very busy.
Private parking.
The location is perfect. There is access to the dunes which you can walk all the way to Bamburgh Beach and Castle! The view was just what I needed on my vacation.
