Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, lovely room. Great location.I asked if it would be possible to leave, prosecco, chocies and flowers in the room to impress my partner. And they did exactly that! And at a very reasonable price. Dave on reception was great!

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The annex was comfortable and warm, both bedrooms were spacious and very clean.
The breakfast was simply the best home cooked we’ve had in a long time. Thank you.

Bakewell is is a pretty town with good cafes for lunch.
Not very good for evening dinner. Just seemed basic and not even nice pub grub.
Lacking choice of decent evening eating places unless you want the very over priced restaurant

An old coaching inn on the A6 in Bakewell. It has only 2 rooms at present, but the new owners are hoping to increase this shortly. In spite of being on a busy road it was extremely quiet and we were not aware of any traffic. It is well located and within easy walking distance of the town centre and the river. The owners and staff were very welcoming and the food in the evening and the breakfasts were very good.
Spacious and clean in a great location next to river and above nice restaurant "The Woodyard" Also within 5 minutes of the town centre which offers many other dining and drinking options.
Own parking place, which is very good as Bakewell gets very busy at weekends.
Also, a lovely bottle of Procecco on arrival, which was a lovely touch.
Must have known it was a special
occasion.
We have stayed in this hotel before and it never disappoints. A beautiful building with an annexe (we were in the annexe) set in the centre of beautiful Bakewell. Super comfy beds and lovely, well equipped rooms. Lovely, friendly staff who will always go the extra mile. Absolutely delicious food, too! We can’t fault this fabulous hotel.
A beautiful cottage so close to the centre of Bakewell, but in a really quiet location. The cottage had character and everything we needed to make us feel at home from the minute we arrived. We would definitely love to stay again.
Thank you.
