The duty manager was very rude and unhelpful. Did not want to listen and when I informed him that he was being rude acted like a child. I have stayed in the hotel on several occasions, but I now won’t be booking a hotel for my overnight stays. I will also instruct my team not to used this hotel.

The hotel felt very welcoming, the outdoor seating area was really nice and inviting. We ended up having breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at what was on offer.

The property was beautiful but the spa was so so. The locker room was too small and the spa was not connected to the main building and the weather was inclement. Also the food was too fussy and not good for a spa getaway

We were traveling further afield so only stayed one night. Went for a walk around the area in the evening and found a very well equipped sports field which was well used by locals.

The staff are all very friendly, and it was a genuine welcome. The hotel is very very clean, old, and full of character. It's a fabulous place to stay.
Although we didn't eat there the meals we saw looked amazing.
I will be returning again.
Dinner and breakfast were great, room was huge and bathroom lovely and clean and bright. Hotel was well presented and had lovely garden sheltered from the road. Perfect location for Aston Clinton park(across the road) or Wendover Woods (10 min drive away).
This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. for the cost of the stay, it was far better than we had expected. We had stayed at quite a few other hotels on our visit, and this was by far the best.
The room was spacious and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was bright, clean and modern. The hotel is very close to a lovely park so we could enjoy walks. Decor was modern.
